Super Soldier Meets Super Hero

(Deku POV)

'It's hard to believe I've been on this earth for a month and half. It's even weirder to have a fanbase, maybe this is how All Might felt.' I thought while flying over the city enjoying the evening air. 'It is something that I struggled to adjust to, but then again I was never as popular as Toshi.' Nana said, appearing next to me with a small smile on her face as she reminisced on something. 'I wasn't that popular either 7, and neither was 6.' Banjo said on my opposite side, looking jealous. I chuckled and continued my evening fly while also looking around for anyone who needed help.

 While looking I noticed something in the distance, I saw something fly out of the ocean next to a ferry and fly toward the city. 'I guess Mr. Stark was deep diving?' While thinking this I see a new building start to light up with the word STARK near the top. 'I keep forgetting that guy is filthy rich.' Yoichi said in awe of the tower. 'I wonder if Yaoyorozu would make a building like that?' I thought while landing on the roof of a building to rest for a moment. After a minute my phone that Director Fury gave me starts to ring.[Ring Ring Ring] "Hello?" I say in greeting, and I recognize Director Fury's voice immediately. " I need you to come in. I'll send someone to get you and someone else tomorrow." And before I could even respond the line went dead. 'Something serious must have happened if he's actually reaching out to me, and who did he mean by someone else?'

(3rd Person POV)

A day later Midoriya is met by a Shield operative named Rumlow who drives him to an airport and leads him to probably one of the coolest looking jets he's ever seen. He steps out of the car and walks to the jet, inside is a man in a suit and another man that Midoriya somewhat recognizes from his internet searches in his first week on this new earth. "Captain Steve Rogers?" Midoriya says in confusion said man turns away from the man in the suit. "I know you, I've seen you in the paper, Deku right?" Steve said while out stretching his hand for a hand shake. Midoriya accepts the handshake while nodding. "Yes that's me, but you can call me Midoriya Izuku." Steve nods while letting go of Midoriya's hand. "You got heart kid, to go out there and do the thing you've been doing. Where are you from?" Steve asks with curiosity. "I'm from Musutafu Japan Sir." Steve looks confused but before a follow up question can be asked the man in the suit speaks first. 

"Gentlemen were on schedule." The two heroes nod and board the jet. "My name is Phil Coulson, Agent of shield, and before we arrive at home base we'd like you two to look through the intel we have on the situation." The newly introduced Phil Coulson said while handing the two heroes screens displaying everything they needed to know. Midoriya takes his time to read through all of it making sure he doesn't miss a thing. A powerful item called the tesseract was stolen from a shield outpost, the tesseract is apparently the key to sustainable clean energy, the person who stole it is named Loki who mind controlled a handful of agents and a doctor to help him with an unknown plan. After reading more details such as who will be involved in the tracking and recovery of the tesseract and the apprehending of Loki, Midoriya notices Miss Romanoff, Captain Rogers and himself are a part of the apprehension team, and that Bruce Banner, a scientist who can turn into the giant green rage monster that he read about on the internet, is the only one on the tracking and recovery team.

 "We're about 40 minutes out from homebase sir." One of the pilots said aloud. Coulson then gets off the computer he was working on turning to the two heroes. "So this doctor Banner was trying to replicate the serum they used on me?" Steve asked after reading through the intel handed to him. "A lot of people were. You were the world's first superhero. Banner thought gamma radiation might hold the key to unlocking Erskine's original formula." After Coulson explained, Steve looked toward Midoriya. "Is that how you got your abilities son? Some new serum?" Steve asked curiously. Midoriya looked confused but answered. "No, I was never injected with a super serum sir." Steve looked to Midoriya as if asking to clarify. "It's a long story." Midoriya said while rubbing the back of his head. Steve wanted to ask more but he could tell the kid was uncomfortable, so he dropped it for now with a nod. "I gotta say it's an honor to meet you officially. I sort of met you, I mean I watched you while you were sleeping." Coulson said out of the blue looking towards Steve. If Steve was weirded out by the phrasing he hid it well enough. "Oh that's something I wanted to ask you Mr. Rogers. What was it like waking up in a new world?" Midoriya asked in search of common ground with the super soldier.

 Steve raised a brow at the phrasing but answered all the same. "It's a lot to take in, knowing that I don't really have the same friends anymore, And I never got to dance with a girl who was waiting for me, but I know there's no going back there's only forward." Steve looks to Midoriya and sees understanding, genuine understanding. "I know the feeling." Midoriya says with a sad smile. "That part of your long story son?" Nodding a yes, Midoriya rubs his eyes and looks out the cockpit windows. "Oh yeah we made some modifications to your uniform Captain, I had some design input." Coulson speaks up again with excitement barely contained in his voice. "The uniform? Isn't the Stars and Stripes a little old fashioned?" Steve asks in confusion, Midoriya briefly wonders if he'll get a new costume. "With what's happening now and with what is about to come to light I think people need a little old-fashioned." After saying that, Coulson looks to Midoriya. "We were not able to make you a new uniform so you'll still be using yours for the time being is that alright?" Slightly disappointed Midoriya nods in understanding and adds. "That's fine, the one I have has sentimental value, if anything I just want it repaired." He says while glancing at his bag carrying his costume with a nostalgic look on his face. "We're About 20 minutes out, sir. You all should sit down and strap in." The pilot announces to the three. Midoriya looks past the cockpit seeing an aircraft carrier and mentally Prepares himself with UA's motto. 'Plus Ultra.'
