Ashley poked my stomach to wake me. She kept poking at me. I grabbed her finger.

"Stoooop."

I said.

"Nuuu."

She poked me with her other hand.

I sat up and shook my head.

"What do you want ash?"

"Well... I got some newsss."

I rubbed my eyes.

"Yeah?"

"Today is our 4 month! Not only that though, we can move into a house, and I can just train you there. We dont need to be here at the Vampiric Lodge."

I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Well, im broke haha. I cant get us a house."

She frowned.

"I know. But you work at the deli.. SO GO WORK!"

I got up and looked around.

"Alright... ill go. Be back later. Love you."

"I love you too."

I put on my shoes and left the Lodge. I jogged down to the deli. On my way there I passed Cole's house. Man I kinda miss him..

So I walked into the deli and yawned.

"Right on time Jay. Youll be working in the kitchen today. We have an order of 2 Hamburgers with fries. Dont forget to ask the customers for there sauces they'd like."

I nodded and walked into the kitchen. I saw Blake here and he looked at me with an odd stare. I rolled my eyes and threw on an apron. Man... why did I sign up for this.

-6 hours later-

"Here jay, its $72 dollars for the day. Enjoy and be back tommorow around the same time."

"I will be. Thanks ma'm."

I left the Deli... man cooking is so fucked after this long of a time. So, I ran back to the lodge, and walked back to my room. Ashley was in my bed sleeping.

I layed down next to her and gently rubbed her butt. She leaned forward and stuck her butt out towards me. I smiled and kept her butt in my hand, as I rested my head next to her.

"At this rate, we'll have a house in 3 years."

She turned to face me.

"Well... youll get a raise or a promotion eventually."

She said.

"Yeah.. I guess. But still."

I turned to lay on my back.

"Ash... does this whole.. 'Vampire' thing ever pay off? Are there any pros of this? She I get special abilities. But... considering I have to hide them from everyone but other vampires... its kind of useless."

I said.

"Well, you could sneak into others thoughts without them knowing, mind control them and make them so things for you, and you live way longer with an added bonus of immunity to all diseases. Its not too bad."

She replied.

I shrugged and looked around my room.

"Yeah but.. I dont know. Its not really.. cut out for me."

"Yes it is sweet heart. Your just new to this. Youll see."

"I hope so.."

I got out of the bed and yawned.
