Chapter Twelve, Escapees
Previously on Unconditional Love:
After a lovely meal made by the two sisters – but mainly Queenie, Tina's little sister – Lisette and Newt were shown kindness and hospitality that counteracted all of the yelling Tina had done to them all day.
"We only have one spare room." Queenie muttered with a frown looking to the two twin beds in the room that had her mannequins.
"That's alright. I can stay on the sofa and Newt can share that room with Mr Kowalski." Lisette suggested.
"Are you sure?" Tina asked with a frown. "I may have yelled at you and your brother-in-law, but I don't wish either of you to be uncomfortable."
"Really it's fine." Lisette smiled. She was grateful for their kindness, but she knew once they got a moment to enter the case and check who had truly escaped, that she and Newt would leave as soon as possible to find everyone but to also head to Arizona to return Frank, the Thunderbird they rescued, home.
"If you're sure." Tina muttered with a frown, clearly unhappy with that idea but there wasn't really another option available to them at the moment. "Queen, can you set up the sofa for Mrs. Scamander to sleep on for the night and I'll make them all hot cocoa after setting up the beds for Mr. Scamander and Mr. Kowalski." Tina said as she turned to the cupboard behind her to pull out some bedsheets and entered the room that Newt and Mr. Kowalski would be sharing for the night. Lisette sighed, running her hand over her hair, already done with their trip to America because nothing has gone right so far.
