Chapter Fifteen, Scamander vs. Grindelwald

Previously on Unconditional Love:

Unbeknownst to them, Lisette had slowly been coming round while they had been distracted, but due to the large hit to her head her movements were slow and sluggish. Her eyes closed more times than they stayed open. But when the first scream of sheer agony escaped Newt's lips her eyes snapped open, her magic flaring like a roiling sea as she climbed to her feet, her eyes literally glowing with her anger and magic.

"You should not have hurt my brother!" Lisette hissed dangerously, wand drawn pointing toward – who they suspected was Grindelwald, and she was going to prove it – said man ceased in his attack on Newt, gifting him the relief he needed, but the Grindelwald just looked uncaringly over his shoulder giving her a mocking smile.

"And who is going to stop me? You?" Grindelwald asked mockingly, turning now towards Lisette as he prepared to end the two nuisances before him.

"L-Lissy...n-no..." Newt panted, not wanting her to be subjected to that curse ever again.

"Yes!" Lisette hissed to Grindelwald. "You're not going to hurt anybody ever again after tonight. Don't worry Newt." Lisette offered her brother a comforting and reassuring smile as she turned her eyes back on Grindelwald, her wand arm had stayed pointing at the man who looked at her mockingly until it slipped off into a confused frown when a smug smirk lifted Lisette's lips. It was only a second later he knew why; as she released the sheer might and prowess of her magic, the force of it knocked him off of his feet and left him aching all over as if one of those large Muggle automobiles had just run him over.
