2024, a year of strife,
Each moment fleeting, sharp as a knife.
The struggle's weight, so deeply felt,
Yet time moves on, no place to dwell."Does it ever drive you crazy," they say,
"How fast the night changes, night into day?"
And as the seconds slip through my hand,
The years unravel, a grain of sand.My grandma passed-what felt like now,
But months have passed, I wonder how.
The pain so fresh, the tears so near,
It feels like yesterday she was here. Her voice still echoes, soft and kind,
A memory etched into my mind.
Yet time has raced, its cruel deceit,
What's yesterday now feels obsolete. It's strange how grief and time collide,
A wound that lingers deep inside.
Her absence cuts like winter's chill,
Yet in my heart, she lingers still.Months turn to years, a shocking pace,
But her warmth remains, her gentle grace.
Time may change what's seen, what's known,
But love's imprint is never outgrown.I blink and miss the days that flew,
The smiles, the laughter, the love so true.
Each second slipping, hard to catch,
Time moves forward, no strings attached.Yet even as it rushes past,
Some moments cling, forever last.
Like her touch, her care, her steady hand,
A timeless love I understand. Now here I sit, the year speeds on,
Yet in my heart, she isn't gone.
Her lessons guide, her spirit stays,
A beacon through life's stormy maze.Though time may heal, it also steals,
But love's enduring-it always feels.
Through fleeting nights and changing skies,
Her memory lives, it never dies.So I'll hold onto what we shared,
Each moment treasured, deeply cared.
Though time betrays and rushes through,
It can't erase what's wholly true. Her love, her life, her lasting light,
Still shines through every passing night.
Though time may blink, though life may twist,
In my heart, she'll always be missed.
