A month later....

Buzz, buzz, buzz. Buzz, buzz, buzz.

"Zac..." Fatima grumbled in her sleep. "Zac..." she called again, nudging him.

"Mmm." "Your phone." "Let it ring..." he growled, pulling Fatima in close.

They drift back off to sleep until....

Buzz, buzz, buzz. Buzz, buzz, buzz.

Zac lifts an eyelid, seeing the notification light flash. "Uhhhhh." he groaned, as Fatima shifted. "Where you going?" "Away from your phone." she told him, crawling over him to the other side of the bed.

Zac swings his legs over the edge and grabbed his phone from the nightstand, tiredly answering paying zero attention to the screen or what it says.

"Hello..." "Good Morning Zac, this is Sergeant Baker." Zac clears his throat. "Good Morning Sergeant Baker." "Good Morning." he repeats. "I was calling to inform you that the meeting Sergeant Collins sent in the email two weeks ago has to be changed to a zoom meeting." "Oh." Zac utters, "Yeah, the facility in being renovated, so it had to be changed." he informed Zac.

"Ok." "Are there any questions? Do you have a computer?" "Yes Sir. I do." "Good." Baker said. "You should receive a package that has to be signed for with identification with a card reader inside of it. It should be there within the next couple of days, you'll receive an email confirmation on the shipment."

"Ok." Zac says, "But my question is. Will the meeting be on the same day and time?" "Yes." Baker told him. "You'll also be receiving your orders for the next six months so if you have to get some things situated please do so beforehand."

"Yes Sir." Zac mumbled softly, looking back at Fatima sleeping so peacefully as his heart broke a little knowing there is a chance he's gonna have to leave.

For the past 6 months, Zac has been home with only having orders to report to his monthly weekend duties. But after praying for the past couple of days, he knew something was up.

"Do you hear me Taylor?" "Yes. Sir." Zac uttered coming out of his trance, as he repeated what the Sergeant said.

"Good." Baker replied. "Well talk soon." "Yes Sir." "Goodbye Solider." "Goodbye." Zac mumbled, hanging up the phone.

Placing the phone back on the nightstand, Zac takes a deep sigh.

After a few deep breaths he gets up to use the restroom, doing his business and a slight morning routine, noticing everyone was still asleep, he gets back into bed, cuddling with Fatima.

2 hours later...

"Mommy, Daddy..." ""Mommy, Daddy..." "Mommy, Daddy..." "Mommy, Daddy..." "Zac/Fatima...get yo kids." they uttered with a groan.

"Daddy wake up." Iyonna says, "Dada. up, up." Angel repeats after his sister.

"I guess it's my day off." Fatima smiled, taunting Zac. "You think you're funny." he whispered in her ear with a raspy voice.

"Daddy/Dada!" "Alright Roadies." he tells the kids, mostly to make them stop jumping on the bed. "Let's get up!" he told them.

"YAYYY!!!" They screamed in celebration, as Iyonna bounced off the bed then helped her brother down.

Zac rolled over to Fatima, nuzzling at her neck then whispered, "Just know. This means war."

"What are you talking about?" "I know you set me up." "Nope. I had them all day yesterday..." "Yeah ok." he told her. SLAP!!! "ZAC!!" she snapped her neck at him from laying on the pillow.
