The morning light cast a cold glow over the bedroom, but the air was heavy with tension. Hoseok sat on the edge of the bed, his heart pounding as he watched Jimin sit stiffly across from him, arms tightly over his chest. Hoseok had stopped Jimin from leaving for work, insisting they needed to talk, but now that the moment was here, words seemed to escape him.

Jimin refused to meet Hoseok's eyes. His gaze remained fixed on the crumpled duvet, his jaw clenched, his knuckles white as he gripped the edge of the bed. It took everything in him to keep his anger in check. He didn't recognize the man in front of him anymore-the same man he had fought the world for, the man who had once been his entire universe.

Hoseok reached out, intertwining their fingers as a gesture of comfort, but Jimin yanked his hand away as though the touch burned. "Say whatever you need to say and get it over with," Jimin snapped, his voice cold and sharp.

Hoseok winced at the tone but pressed forward. "Jimin, I... I've been thinking. I need to tell you something-something that could help us."

Jimin let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. "Help us? Go on, enlighten me."

"I realized something," Hoseok began cautiously. "I'm in love with Yoongi... but I'm also in love with you. I love you both." He paused, gauging Jimin's reaction, but Jimin's expression remained unreadable, though his fists clenched tighter. "I was thinking... maybe we could make this work. The three of us, together. A polyandrous relationship. I haven't spoken to Yoongi about it yet, but-"

Before Hoseok could finish, a sharp slap echoed through the room. His head snapped to the side, his cheek stinging as his hand instinctively flew to it. The pain wasn't just physical; it was the crack in his soul that shattered him. Jimin had never raised a hand to hit him. Never.

"Jimin..." Hoseok whispered, disbelief lacing his tone.

"Fuck you, Hoseok," Jimin spat, rising from the bed. His chest heaved as his emotions boiled over, his eyes blazing with fury and pain. "What kind of disrespect is this? What kind of behavior is this?"

Hoseok opened his mouth to respond, but Jimin didn't let him.

"Do you even understand what you're saying?" Jimin's voice cracked, his words dripping with venom. "You want me to share you? With him? With Yoongi? My own brother? You don't know how it feels, Hoseok. You don't know how it feels to hear my spouse-my husband-moaning like a fucking whore for someone else! I heard you yesterday. I heard every disgusting sound you made. And you think this is something you can fix with some twisted, perverted solution?"

"Jimin, please-"

"Don't 'please' me!" Jimin shouted, tears streaming down his face now. "Hoseok. I heard you moaning like some cheap whore while he fucked you! And you didn't even have the decency to feel guilty about it. You couldn't even hold back. Not for a day. Not for me! And God, I would be lying if I said that shit didn't hurt. Do you have any idea how humiliating this is for me? How disgusting it feels to know my brother is fucking my husband? And now he's gotten you pregnant! You sit here, looking so pitiful, acting like this is some noble solution, when all you've done is destroy me!"

Hoseok flinched at the words, his own tears spilling over. "Jimin, I didn't mean for this to happen-"

Jimin interrupted, his voice shaking. "How would you feel if I cheated on you? Should I find someone to fuck me too? Would that make us even? How would you feel if I did the same? If I went out and fucked someone else? If I came back carrying someone else's baby?"

"Don't you dare, Jimin," Hoseok said, his voice low, but Jimin only scoffed.

"Don't you dare tell me what I can or can't do!" Jimin yelled, stepping closer. "You've lost every right to feel jealous or possessive. You don't own me, Hoseok."

Jimin, I love you-"

"Love me?" Jimin laughed bitterly. "You have a funny way of showing it. You're no different from a prostitute, Hoseok. Selling yourself to the highest bidder, spreading your legs for anyone who'll take you."

Hoseok stood up and the slap that followed was sharp and deafening. Jimin's head snapped to the side, his cheek reddening as silence fell between them.

Hoseok stood frozen, his hand trembling as tears spilled down his cheeks. "Don't... don't say that," he whispered, his voice breaking.

Jimin brought a hand to his cheek, his lips curling into a bitter, humorless smile. "You finally show some fight," he muttered. "Too bad it's too late."

With that, he turned on his heel and walked out of the room, leaving the door ajar behind him.

Hoseok stood frozen, his mind racing, his heart breaking.

Moments later, Yoongi stepped inside, his expression laced with sympathy.

"Get out!" Hoseok screamed, his voice raw and guttural. He moved forward, shoving Yoongi back toward the door. "GET OUT!"

Yoongi tried to speak, but Hoseok wasn't listening. He shoved Yoongi out of the room, slamming the door shut behind him. The rage inside him boiled over, and he grabbed the lamp from the bedside table, hurling it to the floor with a shattering crash.

Breathing heavily, Hoseok leaned against the door, the back of his head pressed to the wood as tears streamed down his face. His sobs filled the room, raw and heart-wrenching, as he slid to the floor, clutching his knees to his chest.

For the first time in his life, Hoseok felt he had truly lost his first love.

Whose side would you choose... Jimin's or Hoseok's?
