The soft glow of the moon filtered through the curtains of their shared bedroom, bathing the space in a serene light. Jimin lay on his back, shirtless, his hands resting lightly on Hoseok’s thighs. Hoseok, perched on top of him, traced small circles on Jimin’s chest with his fingers, the faintest of smiles playing on his lips.

Their breaths were slow and even, their moment undisturbed by the outside world. Hoseok tilted his head, his hair falling softly over his face as he looked at Jimin, whose eyes shimmered with love and devotion.

“You’re staring again,” Hoseok teased, his tone light, though a blush crept up his cheeks.

“And?” Jimin replied, his lips quirking into a smile. His hands slid up to Hoseok’s waist, resting there as though it was where they belonged. “You’re beautiful, Hobi. Can you blame me?”

Hoseok rolled his eyes playfully but couldn’t hide the shy grin spreading across his face. “Stop saying things like that. It’s embarrassing.”

Jimin chuckled, his voice a low, comforting rumble. “Why? It’s true. You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. And I’m lucky you’re mine.”

“Hmm, keep talking like that, and I might believe you,” Hoseok teased, leaning forward until their faces were mere inches apart.

Jimin cupped Hoseok’s face, his thumb brushing against his cheek. “You better believe it. I don’t say things I don’t mean. You’re my whole world, Hobi.”

Hoseok’s heart fluttered, and his grin softened into something more tender. “You always know what to say to make me feel special.”

“That’s because you are special,” Jimin whispered. He leaned up and kissed Hoseok softly, their lips meeting in a gentle, lingering embrace.

As they pulled away, Hoseok smiled down at him. “You’re so good to me, Jiminie.”

“You deserve nothing less,” Jimin replied, his voice thick with affection.

The two stayed like that for a while, exchanging soft kisses and sweet nothings, their love for each other palpable in the quiet intimacy of their shared space.

After a few moments, Jimin’s expression grew slightly more serious, though his hands never left Hoseok’s body. “Hobi, I need to tell you something.”

Hoseok’s brow furrowed slightly. “What is it?”

“I have to leave for three days,” Jimin said gently. “Work’s sending a team out, and my boss chose me as one of the staff to go.”

Hoseok froze, his eyes widening. “Three days?”

Jimin nodded, watching Hoseok carefully. “It’s not long. I’ll be back before you know it.”

“But… but you can’t leave,” Hoseok stammered, his voice trembling. “Jimin, please. I don’t want to be alone.”

“You won’t be alone,” Jimin reassured him, sitting up slightly and wrapping his arms around Hoseok’s waist. “Yoongi will be here.”

At the mention of Yoongi’s name, Hoseok’s heart sank. His lips wobbled, and his eyes filled with tears. “No, Jimin. Please. Don’t leave me alone him.”

Jimin’s brows furrowed, concern etched across his face. “Hobi, what’s wrong? Why are you crying? Did Yoongi do something you didn't like?”

“I…” Hoseok’s voice cracked, and he bent down, resting his body against Jimin’s. His head lay on Jimin’s chest as he muttered, “I’m sorry… I’m so sorry.”

“Hobi,” Jimin whispered, holding him tightly. He stroked Hoseok’s hair soothingly, his other hand rubbing his back. “You’re scaring me. What’s going on?”

Hoseok shook his head, his voice muffled. “I just don’t want you to go. Please.”

Jimin sighed softly, his heart aching at Hoseok’s distress. “It’s only three days, love. I’ll call you every chance I get. And Yoongi will take care of you.”

Hoseok flinched at the mention of Yoongi again, but he didn’t say anything. He simply clung to Jimin, his tears soaking into Jimin’s skin.

“Shh,” Jimin soothed, his voice soft. “It’s okay. Everything will be okay. I promise.”

Hoseok stayed silent for a moment before whispering, “I don’t deserve you.”

Jimin pulled back slightly, just enough to look into Hoseok’s tear-streaked face. “Don’t you ever say that,” he said firmly, his voice filled with emotion. “You are everything to me, Hoseok. Don’t ever doubt that.”

Hoseok sniffled, nodding slightly. “I’m sorry,” he whispered again.

Jimin kissed his forehead, then his cheeks, and finally his lips. “Don’t apologize, baby. Just trust me. I’ll be back before you know it.”

They stayed like that for a long while, wrapped up in each other, Jimin’s soft reassurances eventually lulling Hoseok into a fragile sense of comfort.
