I don't know how long I slept, but after the fight I drove to the lake and screamed my lungs out for a half an hour before I went to a breakfast dinner called The Launch. After devouring my strawberry crepes, I noticed that this is the place where Miguel's family went for breakfast. Then, we started to engage in small talk and I meet Miguel's father and other sister, who are both extremely nice. They asked what I was doing here by myself and I came up with the convincing excuse that I wanted these crepes. Look at me go.
After paying and leaving, I preceded to tell nobody about my current situation and went to the park and walked around the perimeter five times. I went to the store and got a sharpie and a piece of cardboard and went back to my old home and wrote "The only acknowledgment you'll receive from me is when I'm pissing on your grave!"
I think he would like that.
After, I went to the Walmart to buy all of the heath care products that I forgot to take. Which was a lot, but I digress. I also bought some food and a infallible mattress that fits in the back seat of my car. Now sleeping won't be a hassle. I went to the gym and took a shower with some products I brought and adjusted to having to come here every day just to get clean.
I get up, rub my eyes and check my phone. 8 am and 81 new notifications for literally everyone I know. Dammit. Most of them are my close friends and my siblings but I received some from people I barely talk to anymore like girls on my diving team. Dammit! Practice starts in a week! They are all asking me if I'm okay and where I'm staying with is a redundant question because not a single one of them will take me in.
I begin with the important people like close friends and family.
Three from Camron. *hey, r u ok?* *where r u?* *r u staying w someone?*
Eight form Carly. *hey! Where are you?* *how r u?* *dad says he's sorry*
I ignore the rest and respond with *if he's sorry he'd let me back in.*
Ignore, ignore, ignore, ignore. All useless. I check the final message from an unknown number with a strange area code. I open the chat and read the message. *¡Hola! It's Miguel. And you said something early about taking you on a date first before anything happens 😏*
I laugh at it and roll my eyes. *haha lol. Yeah but my current situation isn't the best for me to go around spending money.*
He instantly responds. *damn, that sucks. I'll pay for you don't worry. But if you mind me asking, what situation are you in?*
*homelessness. Wow that was funner to type out than say*
*crap. Kicked out?*
*bingo*
*I wish I could help you with that but I don't know if my family with let you in.*
*yeah, but thanks*
*now about this date 😏*
*I'm bitching about my problems and you just want your date, lol. I'm gonna throw you.*
*sorry! But if you don't want to it's fine*
*no, I do*
*then where you wanna go?*
*my car! I have the best food that you can possibly dream! We'll be dining on pop tarts tho*
*I laughed so hard I fell on the freaking floor! That's your current living situation! Doesn't get cold?*
*extremely. I just have a ton of blankets*
*okay, I don't care what my parents think, you're living with us.*
