I sit in the lobby of the office playing with my fingers. I'm bored out of my mind and I don't know how long I've been here waiting. I would go on my phone but it's almost dead so I turned it off. I would read now of the magazines but sometimes I think God wasted his time giving the ability to read if I'd never use it. And they are all about celebrities too, like I already don't hear about that enough. It's a small room with the secretary sits behind a large, beige colored, patron wall. That's an understatement; the whole room is beige. There's a coffee machine that doesn't stop brewing coffee, even if there isn't a pod in there. That's the only noise here other than Judge Judy playing on a small, hanging TV and the keys of the secretary's keyboard being pressed down.

They made me fill out a survey, which personal I feel like I need to fill out a survey just to go do anything. It's mainly about myself; like how I stay active, if I'm sexually active (should I say yes?) my home life, if I've gone to any other therapist before, if I'm in a relationship (should I say yes to that too?!). It always asks me if I have suicidal thoughts, which I don't so they can stop the stressing on me. I tell you now, if these people are going to make me feel like I'm insane I want my money back... oh and my sanity.

"Callie?" Someone calls my name.

I look over to the source of the sound, it's another secretary. I stand up and follow her into an office. It's empty, dark and sounds like the jungle with a desktop waterfall and a large fish tank that spans across the wall. I sit on the black leather couch and wait...

And wait...

And wait...

Suddenly this tall slim blonde guy walks in and sits at his desk. He has glasses and some tattoos that are visible underneath the sleeve of his shirt.

"Callie, I assume?" He asks.

"That'd be me." I try to laugh. He doesn't.

"I'm doctor Ajudinha," he says without breaking eye contact with his computer, "Camilo Ajudinha."

"Hello, as you know, I'm Callie." I say.

"Where shall we begin?" He asks and looks at me and then back down at his notepad, "I understand you have a poor relationship with your family, no?"

"Yes, when I was 3 years old my mom left, like disappeared from my life. It left my two siblings and I devastated. Alas we tracked on, it was only recently when my siblings would complain about my father and how he was in our lives. I would remind them that it's hard to be a single parent, but they just keep going. I went through... a situation... and I feel like that changed my perspective."

"How would you say that?" He asks and starts to write.

"Well I went back home after the situation and he was mad, lashing out on me and everything. I started to do so as well. We yelled about my problems, his and then... I just left."

"Where'd you go?" He asks and continues writing.

"I slept in my car for a few days before I took my friend up on his offer," I try not to make it too obvious, "I lived there for a few weeks, and then his mom told me I had to leave."

"What are your relations with this man?" He asks.

"I-" I stutter.

He chuckles without looking up, "You can tell me."

"He's... my situationship." I say honestly with a frown.

"You seem sad by that." He says without looking at but at his notepad.

"How'd you know?" I say embarrassed.

"You didn't make it hard for me to find." He says honestly, "don't mind my note taking. Why are you sad about that?"
