After a whole week of being picked on by Miguel, I finally made it to Friday night. There's a football game at my school tonight and I'm probably gonna go with Hannah and Joanna, but I have a crap ton of homework to get done and my weekend is packed. By packed I mean sleep in Saturday and church on Sunday. But my weekend's full! But unfortunately, using the excuse "I didn't do my homework because of religious purposes".
After pulling into the high school parking lot, I spot a decent enough spot to park. And get out of my car. Camron already carpooled with some of his friends here and Carly isn't a sports fan so, I don't have to deal with them tonight. I'm not a big sports fan, but I don't mind watching it. I walk up to the field and pass underneath the arch and ticket booth.
"Yo!" I hear and turn my head in the direction.
I see a tall, slim guy in a hoodie next to the fence that separates the field and the outside.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"You friends with Joanna?" He asks.
"Yeah, why?" I ask.
"She told me to let you in for free. I'm her older brother," he says.
"Brandon?" I ask.
"That would be me," he laughs.
"I thought you graduated last year," I say.
"I did, but the college's ain't letting me in, motherfuckers be my biggest opp," he laughs.
"How are gonna get me in?" I ask.
"You want me to lift your ass over or cut the fence?" He asks.
"The fence," I answer.
"Yo ass ain't any fun," he sighs, "you really are Callie."
"Shut up," I say.
"Fine, get yo ass over here," he says.
I walk over there and he uses a wire cutter to cut the fence into a small hole.
"Bigger," I say.
"You'll fit," he says.
"No," I scoff.
"Fine," he sighs.
He cuts a bigger part and I can walk through it. "Thanks," I scoff.
"Now go play with your friends," he scoffs and waves his hand at me like I'm a rat.
"Now go get high some place where I can't see you," I roll my eyes and walk away.
"Get yo ass back here!" He says.
"No, I'm going to play with my friends," I scoff and stop walking.
"That's what I thought," he says and turns away.
"I didn't know you can have those," I glare and he looks back at me.
"Shawty, stop playing," he says, "I know you."
"Don't call me that, and I know you because you're my friend's bother," I say.
"I could be getting high right now, but your ass had to make me do this," he shakes his head.
"Fuck yourself, wait you can't, because you don't have-"
"Finish that sentence and you'll see it yourself," he threatens.
"Is there a problem?" I hear that voice and immediately want to kill myself. Yay, my savior, Miguel.
"Who you?" Brandon asks.
"What were you saying to her?" Miguel asks.
"I beat your ass, fucker," Brandon says.
"You really wanna go?" Miguel asks and tightens his muscles.
