I tried. God, I tried. But the thought of her being out there, somewhere, without me... it drove me mad.
I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep. She was everywhere in my mind, in my dreams, in every room of the house.
And yet, she was nowhere. I could feel the weight of her absence in every corner of this place.
And that’s when I realized it.
I had to have her back.
I couldn’t let her go. Not like this.
So, I made a decision. I found where she was staying and went to her. I didn’t ask.
I didn’t beg...
I just did what I had to do.
I brought her back.
And I locked her in my house...
