After the whole alien in distress problem was solved, the next day held nothing of value, no alien conspiracy or plumbers kids. Y/N spent most of the early morning either patrolling or reading magic books, in the early hours of the morning, Y/N was in the library meditating while levitating in the air until he sensed Hex open the door to the library.

Hex: Y/N? You are up early.

Y/N: Meditating during the early hours of the day help me concentrate more.

Hex: Your father use to do that, it seems you got that from him.

Y/N: You know a lot about my parents before I was born, do you mind telling me more?

Hex: Certainly. As you know, my brother and I were good friends with your parents. We practiced and trained together until my brother and your parents decided to have you and my niece, Hope. Of course, you were born much later.

Y/N: I still vaguely remember meeting you for the first time.

Hex: Indeed, you were so innocent back then... but now.

Y/N: Now, I help people so they don't go through the pain we went through.

Hex: You're becoming a wise and selfless man, Y/N. I wonder what would have happened if Addwaitya did not attack.

Y/N: Well, I wouldn't have met Ben, Gwen or Max. I miss my parents, there isn't a point in time when I didn't stop thinking about them.

Hex: And you would have met my niece sooner.

Y/N: Wait, I was supposed to meet Hope?

Hex: Yes, shortly after your mother had you, my brother and your parents planned a "play date" for you and her when you were old enough.

Y/N was almost speechless, the possibility of him and Hope meeting as kids and what could have been.

Hex: But, I'm happy you two still met and grew an attachment to each other. I'm sure your parents and my brother are happy. Soon I will expect a proposal in the future.

Y/N's face goes red for a moment, he didn't deny it but marriage already.

Y/N: Marriage? Hex, by all means I love her, she's my soulmate but I don't think I'm ready for marriage yet.

Hex: I understand.

Y/N: I better go now, goodbye Hex.

Hex: Goodbye, Y/N.

He teleported out of the library to reappear on a rooftop and Y/N began his patrol again. After an hour of patrolling, Kevin contacted Y/N saying they were going somewhere and with that, Y/N made his way to Kevin's garage where Ben and Gwen were waiting.

Y/N: Where are we going?

Kevin: It's a surprise.

Ben: Yeah, I think you guys are going to like it.

Gwen: If its another Mr Smoothie drink, then we are leaving you there.

Ben: I promise this has nothing to do with smoothies.

Kevin pulled over and Gwen recognised where she was as well as Y/N, they were at grandpa Max's hidden fishing rock.

Kevin: Well, let's go.

As Ben and Kevin walked off towards the fishing spot, Gwen felt uneasy about being brought to the spot that reminded her of her grandfather.

Y/N: You still miss him?

Gwen: I do but what he did for us...

Y/N: It was selfless and heroic. All we can do now is honour his wishes.
