With the Highbreed war over and no sign of alien activity in weeks, Bellwood went back to as normal as it usually is, Ben went back to school, so did Gwen, Kevin worked on his car after it got destroyed in the war and Y/N either patrolled the city or read magical books and learning more spells but he would sometimes think about Hope and how much he missed her, just being around her made him so much better.
As Y/N was reading the Archamada Book of Spells in the library of Hex's sanctum until his Ultimatrix starts beeping and the dial popped up revealing Gwen's hologram and her holding her plumbers badge.
Y/N: Hello Gwen.
Gwen *communicator*: Y/N, can you come down to the garage?
Y/N: Is there a problem?
Gwen *communicator*: Kevin found some alien tech on the black market, he says its way beyond Earth's technology.
Y/N: I'll be there in a moment.
The Ultimatrix dial sank down into the base as Y/N made the book float back into its spot in the bookshelf and he used a teleporting spell to disappear from the sanctum and appear in Kevin's garage.
Gwen: Now we have to wait for Ben.
Y/N: So, what's this alien technology you mentioned?
Kevin: Whatever it is, it isn't good.
Y/N: Could it be technology left behind from the war?
Gwen: Doubt it, the Highbreed said they took everything with them.
Kevin: Maybe they just forgot it. Wonder if I can use it to upgrade my ride...
Gwen rolled her eyes as Ben turned up panting like he ran a marathon.
Ben: *pants* I...I'm here...
Gwen: Woah, did you run all the way here?
Ben: The... Omnitrix has... been acting weird...
Kevin: Didn't it always act weird?
Y/N: What has it been doing?
Ben: It's been bugging out, it's only been doing it recently.
Kevin: We can worry about your watch later, Tennyson. I'd worry about you because you look like you're going to pass out.
Y/N summoned a water bottle with his magic and offered it to Ben.
Ben: No smoothy?
Y/N: What is with you and smoothies? Besides this is better for you.
Ben: Fine...
He took the water bottle and started drinking and he started looking a lot better.
Gwen: What do we know about the deal?
Kevin: That they're selling some serious tech that they don't know what its capable of and they want to meet inside an old warehouse outside of town. My buddy Fitz told me about it.
Y/N: Keep your plumbers badge on so we can track you.
Gwen: Then we can confront the whoever is dealing the technology.
Kevin: I've been meaning to try out my ride. Gives me the chance to use the boosters.
Ben: Who's behind this deal?
Kevin: Dunno, but we're about to find out.
Kevin took his plumbers badge and started his car and drove off as Y/N activated his Ultimatrix and started tracking Kevin's location.
