Outside of Gwen's house in the middle of the night, the house didn't show a single light inside and the cars were gone, as Gwen's family were taken somewhere safe.
In the night sky, a fireball shot across the sky as Kevin landed out front of the house seeing the damage from Ben but he turns to the house.
Kevin: Gwen! I know you're in there! I want your mana.
Stabbing his Rath claw into the door and ripping off its hinges, throwing it onto the lawn only to be met with Max in his plumber suit.
Max: Gwen can't come to the door right now. Can I help you?
Kevin: Unless you want another trip to the hospital, old man, you'll step aside!
Max: Not before we talk.
Kevin: We got nothin' to talk about! Get out of my way!
Max didn't even budge nor show intimidation as Kevin tried to break through the door frame but Max pulled out a plumber rifle and fired it before Kevin could react as each blast sent the Osmosian back onto the sidewalk.
Max: Sorry about this, son. You're not thinking clearly.
Kevin: Not as sorry as you're about to be.
Max fired another green laser but Kevin was ready for it as he absorbed the energy and redirected it back at Max sending him back on his back, Max rolled to the side to avoid getting stomped as he threw grenades that exploded letting out yellow smoke blinding him, as Kevin cleared the smoke, Max was gone until he felt something got put on his back as she shot around to see Max dive out of the way as the device went off sending Kevin face first into a street light. Kevin turn back to see Max just got back on his feet.
Kevin: I've had enough of your tricks!
Max: Too bad, I still have a lot more up my sleeve.
Pushing a button on his plumber suit called the Rust Bucket and on top of it was a cannon as the RV stopped in front of the crazed Osmosian and fired green electricity bringing Kevin to his knees but Kevin made the ground shake with Armadrillo's power causing the ground beneath Max to give away as he fell down into the hole. Max got up and climbed out of the hole grabbing his blaster firing but Kevin using Helen's speed avoided them and grabbed Max by the throat.
Kevin: I don't know why I ever looked up to you. You're just a pathetic old man with no power to steal.
Harvey: Put him down, Kevin.
Hearing the voice of his step father made him turn letting off the grip on Max's throat as he could feel the anger rising in him.
Kevin: YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!
Harvey: I said, put him down! Are you listening to me, son?
Kevin: YOU'RE NOT MY REAL FATHER! YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!
Harvey: You're right, I'm not... But you were only 4 years old when I married your mother, and I raised you like you were my own.
Kevin: So?!
Harvey: "So?" So you're going to listen to me.
Kevin: You got nothing to say to me! You tried to take my real dad's place, you convince my ma to kick me out on the street when I was 11 years old!-
