The mad scientist and former ruler of the Null Void, Doctor Animo escaped Plumber custody. With his new mutant frog, he managed to steal some equipment from a nuclear power plant and used his frog to flee. Ending up in Bellwood park.
Animo: With this equipment we shall make you stronger, my pet.
As the frog hopped through the empty park, it stopped suddenly as Kevin stood in front of the two.
Animo: You!
Kevin: Don't forget about her.
Multiple mana orbs collided with the grass making the mutant frog back up as the Anodite hybrid stood a top of her mana platform.
Gwen: You're surrounded, Animo.
Animo: It'll take more than the likes of you to capture me!
Sub-Zero: That's where you're wrong.
Coming out of no where, the ice reptilian let out a beam of ice at the mutant frog's feet, encasing them, making the frog groan.

Sub-Zero: You're supposed to be the expert on animals. Frogs don't like the cold. Now, hand over what you stole.
Animo: You underestimate me, (Fake Name). You think this is just a big frog?
Kevin: Uh, yeah. Only a big frozen frog.
Animo: Well, you're both in error.
Messing with his mind control head, the mutant frog's body heated up and it broke out. The frog hopped away with high speed as Gwen and Sub-Zero opened fire on the frog to try and stop it but the scientist got away.
Gwen: That's new.
Sub-Zero: Looks like Animo has improved on his experiments.
Kevin: And with that stuff he stole, those animals will be more mean.
Gwen: We'll catch him next time.
Kevin: Hey, where's Ben?
In a purple flash, Y/N turned back to normal in his true form.
Y/N: Sleeping, it is a school night and his mother isn't very fond of him going out to fight aliens when you have classes first thing in the morning.
Gwen: That reminds me I've got lots of studying to do, I have a French language exam tomorrow. Can you give me a ride, Kevin?
Kevin: Of course, babe.
Y/N: I'll keep looking for when Animo will strike next, even the pet stores.
The team split off, Y/N going on his own while the green muscle car arrived outside of Gwen's home.
