"Please." Caleb whined, putting his hands together in a prayer motion. "It'll be fun, come on."

I was laying down in bed that afternoon, when Caleb had arrived to convince me to come snorkelling with them.

"Sorry..." I simply replied, looking away from him but he tugged my hand and we locked eyes again.

"You- you like the sea don't you?" His voice got low, and I know he was thinking back to my little freak out over the pool yesterday.

I nodded and he grinned, "Okay, see. You'll love it."

"Everyone else already knows how. For once, they're letting me do it but I don't wanna be the only newbie there with fucking Nick and Kai." Caleb explained, he started fake crying when I stayed quiet. "Jo, please."

I felt bad, really bad but I couldn't. I was in pain and I was bleeding, I just really wanted to sleep.

"Cay." Roman's deep voice interfered. "Your sister's not feeling so good, leave her be."

I pulled the blanket up to cover my cheeks that I was sure were turning red.

Cameron had obviously told him what happened last night. I don't know what I was expecting, it was Cameron.

"Sorry, feel better soon, Jo." Caleb sighed and let go of my hand, standing up.

Roman ruffled Caleb's hair as he passed by him to leave before he closed the door and took a seat on the bed.

He placed his hand on my shoulder, looking at me concerned. "How are you feeling?"

"Bad." I chewed my lip, trying to distract myself from everything I was feeling.

It was weird. I've been sick, colds and flus, food poisoning, tummy aches and such, but nothing prepares you for a pain quite like this one.

At times it was dull but lingering, then out of nowhere, it was sharp and it could kick the very breath out of me.

On top of that, I had a headache. Now bad headaches weren't new to me, I usually had them at least a couple times a month, even more when school was on.

It also took away my appetite, the chocolate syruped pancakes that Madison made for me, especially, this morning wasn't the greatest idea.

I wasn't a big fan of chocolate, I guess it depended on the day and my mood, this was one of those days.

Just the look of it made me want to throw up.

My sister took it away immediately and I was told Kai had devoured them, good for him.

"I wanna go home." My voice broke, I clutched my stomach.

I didn't want to be on vacation anymore.

At that moment, I would've preferred to be back at home, in my own room and my own bed.

"I know." He reassured me, brushing away the piece of hair that stuck onto my sweaty forehead.

Cameron walked in, holding a plate with a sandwich on it.

"When was the last time she had medicine?" Roman asked him, sitting up properly.

"Only two hours ago, she can't have anything for the next two hours at least." He responded, as he placed the plate on the bedside table by me.

I looked at the sandwich and shook my head, my stomach turning. "I'm not eating that."

"It's just how you like it, the bread, cheese, everything." Cameron tried to reassure me. I eyed him warily, I didn't expect him to know these things about me. "Nick made it for you."
