Reconnect (Lesbian Version)

The First Night

Night time was beautiful. Sonica was just finished making his father's bed.

But she frowned because she was worried about her father.

Allen was a little sick. Even though he is here to help his youngest daughter and his grandsons, Sonica has to help him too. Allen didn't care if he was a little sick.

Sonica remembered the day he moved in with her.

Allen got out of the car and greeted Sonica, "Hi sweetheart."

Sonica replied, "Hi Daddy."

Riku and Satoshi then said, "Hi Grandpa!"

Allen pets his two grandsons head while chuckling.

He then coughed as Sonica asked, "Daddy, are you okay?"

A familiar female voice said, "Your father's a little sick honey."

They turn to see Julia helping him with his luggage.

Sonica asked, "What's wrong with her Mother?"

Julia replied with a sigh, "It's hard to say, I had to take him to the doctors every Wednesday."

Allen turn to his wife and said, "I'll be fine honey."

Julia thought with a concern expression, "I sure hope so sweetie."

Sonica asked her mother, "How about you move in with us Mother? That way both grandparents can help out with my son and everything."

Julia replied with a smile, "That's nice and all Sonica, but I'm afraid I haft to turn down your offer. Your Aunt Charlie needs me to look out for her since that incident with the wheelchair."

Sonica said with a hint of shock, "Oh yikes, I heard about that. Is Aunt Charl okay?"

Julia replied with a shrug, "Probably, I mean I was there. Charlie kinda thought she still got it. The doctor said her legs got a little bit damaged. I told her not to do anything stupid but she quote 'I'm not gonna listen to you, my little sister'. Guess she will listen to me right now."

The two laughed as mother and daughter.

That's when Julia then said as she place the bags inside, "But hey, until your Aunt Charlie is better, I need you to take care of your father. Since your brother is with his fiancé in Paris, and your older sister is proceeding to move on in her life with her family."

Sonica asked as Allen entered, "Well we will be able to move to a new house here. Are you sure you don't want to move here? You can bring Aunt Charlie here you know."

Julia answered with a chuckle, "I'm sure baby girl. But your Aunt sends her love. If you need anything, give us a call."

Sonica nodded in agreement.

Sonica just finished making the bed.

That's when Allen entered and said, "Is everything okay sweetie pie?"

Sonic replied, "Yeah Daddy. I just put the baby to sleep, and the boys will be in bed. Will you be okay? I appreciate all you have done Daddy."

Allen then said, "Honey-Grams. I'll be fine. It's just a little illness, not like it can kill me."

Sonica shook her head and asked, "And they say I'm stubborn?"

Allen chuckled and said, "Well, you didn't actually think you got your stubbornness from your Mama did you Sonica?"

Sonica answered her, "To be honest, I didn't know where I got it from. But I knew I got more than one gene from you Dad."

Allen gave his daughter a small smile and said as he hugged his daughter "Well goodnight, my fast little girl."

Sonica wished him back a goodnight and exited the room.

She then saw Riku in his pajamas. Sonica asked, "Riku what are you doing up?"

Riku replied to his mother, "I had to go to the bathroom Mommy."

Sonica smiled a little before she said while escorting the little boy to bed, "Come on son, let's get you to bed, you and your big brother got school tomorrow."

Before they went to Rikus room, Sonica knocked on Satoshis door and said, "Son? Don't stay up late watching Tv, you have school tomorrow."

Satoshi 'who was watching an action movie while laying down on his bed' replied on the other side, "Don't worry Mom I won't, besides I ."

Once they arrived and entered Rikus room,

Sonica tucked him into bed. Riku asked with curiosity, "Mommy? Will we have family time after school?"

Sonica replied as she turned on his baseball night light, "We'll see sweetie, but that's going to depend if I have work. Don't forget, your brother is picking you up and Grandpa and his nurse are taking care of Max if I have work tomorow."

Riku then said with a smile, "Okay, I understand. Goodnight Mommy."

Sonica kissed his forehead and said, "Goodnight little Riku."

Once Sonica exited her second son's room and close the door, she went to his room.

She entered and closed the door behind her.

She frowned in a grieving manner. She looked at a small urn (on a drawer table) containing Raitos ashes.

Behind the bowl is Raitos portrait.

Sonica sighed sadly and said as she placed a hand on the lid of the ashes, "Oh baby, you woulda loved this place. We coulda gaze into the stars together. I love you so much Raito. I miss you."

She blows a kiss onto the portrait.

She then said, "You are my true and caring love Raito. I shoulda realized a long time ago. You are such a trustworthy and loving person."

She frowned and glared at the floor as she said shaking her fist, "Unlike my unfaithful ex-wife."

She looks up at the bed and said, "Wherever she is, I hope I never see her again. Then again, I haven't seen her in 11 years." Sonica sighed before going to bed.

She turned off the lamp before going to bed.

The moon and stars in the sky shined brightly.

Sonica may think the past is behind her, but tomorrow the past comes to Sonica unexpectedly but not too pleasant.
