A soft hand brushed against my cheek. I felt someone drape a blanket over my body, then lie down next to me, and wrap their arms around me, pulling me close. I leaned my head against their chest, and put my arms around their neck. Whoever it was, smelled good. Like, really good. I inhaled deeply, and smiled. Then, I drifted off to sleep once more.

"Hey" someone whispered softly. I opened my eyes slowly.  And there she was. Angel, leaning down, with her hand on my forehead, a concerned look on her face. A small smile slowly spread across my lips. "Angel? You- you came back? But-how-" Angel put a finger to my lips, cutting me off. "Please. Shut up. I'll explain." I frowned at her. "So, last night, I decided to take a walk. I needed a break from this place" she said, biting her lip. I looked away from her face for the first time since waking up. My eyes roamed around the small room. I was lying in a twin sized bed, against a wall. The walls were painted white originally, but the paint had started peeling some time ago. Next to the bed was a little nightstand. And on the far wall, was a door, and a dresser. Other than that, the room was mostly barren. "Where is this place exactly?" I asked, staring back at her gorgeous face. She smirked. "This" she said, gesturing around the room. "Is my apartment. Well, this is actually just my bedroom. The rest of the apartment is out there." I chuckled and nodded. "I kind of assumed that's where it'd be. Unless you're hiding it in the wardrobe or something." Angel rolled her eyes at me and laughed. "Well I see you're definitely feeling better. Anyway, I needed to get away from my apartment. It's sort of confining. So, I went to take a walk. The school's not that far away from here. And that's how I ended up near there. As I got closer to the building, I remembered that it was prom night. I vaguely wondered if you were there. Then, I heard someone crying. I followed the sound, until I came to a field. You were lying right by the edge of it. Pretty easy to find you. I have no idea where you live, so I brought you back here." I nodded. It was a believable enough story. Angel stared at me, her smile fading to a look of pity. "So. Are you gonna tell me what happened?" I suddenly felt a lump in my throat. I really didn't want to retell it. I felt tears building up. No no no no. I wasn't going to cry here. Not in front of Angel. "Well, Juliet didn't have a date for prom, so I said I'd go with her. Then, when we got there, a slow song started, so we slow danced. Then, at the end, Juliet pulled me in for a kiss, then pushed me away. She started freaking out at me, and saying I was hitting on her, and that she liked guys, not girls. Then, I ran out. She came after me, and told me that it was all a set up, because she didn't get a prom date because everyone thought we were dating. So she had to convince everyone that she was straight. Then I told her that I was a lesbian, and I really did like her. She had no idea. She used me. So I left. And you about know the rest." Angel stared at me, shocked. "Oh my god. Violet, that's horrible. I'm so sorry." I sat up, and she leaned in for a hug. I put my hand on her chest, stopping her. My hands went to her waist, and I pulled her forward, pressing my lips to hers. She moaned against my mouth. I leaned back, until my head hit the pillow. Angel who was now on top of me, trailed her fingers down my side, until she reached the hem of my shirt. Then, she pulled back, looking deeply into my eyes. "Do- do you want to?" I put my hand on the back of her neck, and pulled her forward. "Yes. I'm done with Juliet. And- I'm- I'm sorry about what happened before." Angel smiled. "I forgive you." Then she smashed her lips against mine. She pulled my shirt all the way off, and I did the same to her. I gasped, as she trailed her cold fingers down to the edge of my jeans. Weird, I don't remember putting these on. She unbuttoned the jeans. I'll spare you the rest of the details. But I'll tell you this. I love her. I love Angel.
