****"Who is she?" Goke was marveled. This wasn't the first time he was seeing the girl and he knew who his new target was.
"Abort mission," Bishop said, he was sitting in the Longue, as the other students parted for Denise and Ashley to walk away.
"Who is she?" although by her speech and by her face, he secretly guessed who it was. He might not have been in school but he was still the head boy and was a very important figure. He knew all that was going on in school.
The death of his cousin, the death of Martha Irele, the scandal he has known about long before it came out. Zeet Anonymous tried to act like they knew it all but he would often time scoff when they brought out old gist.
"That's Denise Arabowale, the peasant princess." Armstrong walked toward them. The crowd that had formed disappeared quickly, all of them going their way as if nothing happened.
"Peasant princess?" Goke glanced a Bishop. "He is correct. Twins sister of Daniella Arabowale, raised in the ghettos."
"How is that possible? I thought they said the twin was dead."
"Apparently not, she resurfaces during the holiday, and there was an epic story that led to the demise of her sister or fake sister Sha. Hmmm..." Armstrong answered.
Gole turned back to where she was standing, "that's interesting," he smirked.
"Oh no! No! No! No! No! No!" Armstrong shook his head.
"What?!" Goke snapped, he didn't like the word no. "I know that look Goke she is off limits!" Armstrong said.
"What do you mean by off-limits? Nobody is off-limits to me and you know that!"
"Are you crazy?! That girl is from the ghettos!" Bishop snapped.
"So?! She is still the most powerful female here, having her in my grasp will assert my power."
Bishop and Armstrong wanted to roll their eyes at his stupidity, was he not thinking?!
"Apart from the fact that she is a slump peasant by heart, she is as hard as a rock, she is a lost cause. Don't even try!"
Goke eyes narrowed, he didn't like being underestimated. He hated hearing that he could not do something because he would definitely do it.
"How much do you wanna bet that I will date her by the end of the week?" Goke asked cockily.
That was the thing with him, he was too cocky for their liking, but the cockmess had worked in his favor many times. He had the money, the looks, the power, and the fame to back up his attitude so they were not surprised he was able to get away with a lot of things but this?! It was impossible.
"12 Meters," Bishop said, making Armstrong gasp. Bishop and Armstrong didn't have twelve million naira to give Goke. Goke Balogun didn't need that money, he had plenty already but Bishop knew there was no way he was getting Denise.
"You are really serious about me not getting her," Goke stated observant.
Bishop was no risk taker her, he didn't have the money to back it up. Which meant that she will be a tough nut to crack. Nothing he had never seen before though. This wasn't the first time he was going after a peasant girl but this was the first time Bishop was betting that kind of money on a girl.
Maybe he made a mistake, but his ego couldn't have that though, he didn't need that twelve million naira but he wanted the girl.
"How about one year on your yacht 'cause I know you don't have twelve million," Goke smirked.
