(Y/n)'s POV

A year had passed since that magical night in the village plaza, and I still felt the warmth of that moment radiating through me. The engagement had brought not only joy but also a sense of purpose and unity among our people. Zeldris and I had worked tirelessly alongside the villagers, rebuilding our home and fostering a sense of community that had been lost for far too long.

Now, as I sat in the sunlit courtyard of our home, I couldn't help but smile at the thought of our upcoming wedding. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the gentle breeze rustled the leaves overhead, creating a serene atmosphere. I was surrounded by my family—my father, Uther, and my brother, Arthur Pendragon. Their presence brought me comfort and strength, and I felt grateful to have them by my side as we discussed the next steps in our lives.

"Have you two decided on a date yet?" Uther asked, his voice warm and encouraging. He leaned back in his chair, a proud smile on his face as he looked between Arthur and me.

Arthur, ever the supportive brother, nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! It's about time we set a date. You both deserve a beautiful celebration after everything you've accomplished together."

I felt my cheeks flush with happiness at their excitement. "We've been talking about it, but we wanted to make sure we found the right time. There's so much to consider, especially with the village still recovering."

Uther leaned forward, his expression serious yet understanding. "I know you want to prioritize the village, but you also deserve to celebrate your love. It's important for everyone to see that joy can flourish even in difficult times."

Arthur chimed in, "Exactly! A wedding would be a beacon of hope for everyone. It would remind them that life goes on, and love prevails."

Their words resonated deeply within me. I glanced at Zeldris, who had been quietly listening, a soft smile on his face. His presence was a constant source of strength, and I felt a rush of affection for him. "What do you think, Zeldris? When do you feel would be the right time?"

He met my gaze, his eyes filled with warmth and sincerity. "I believe we should choose a date that allows us to celebrate not just our love but also the progress we've made as a community. Perhaps in the spring, when everything is in bloom? It would symbolize new beginnings."

I nodded, the idea resonating with me. "Spring sounds perfect. It's a time of renewal, and it would be beautiful to have the wedding surrounded by flowers and greenery."

Uther smiled, his eyes twinkling with pride. "Then it's settled! We'll aim for a spring wedding. I can already envision the festivities—the decorations, the food, and the joy that will fill the air."

Arthur leaned forward, his excitement palpable. "And we can involve the villagers in the planning! They'll want to help make it special for you both."

The thought of our friends and neighbors coming together to celebrate our love filled me with joy. "That would mean so much to us. We want everyone to feel included in this moment."

As we continued to discuss the details, I felt a sense of happiness wash over me. The anticipation of the wedding was exhilarating, but it was more than just the event itself. It was a celebration of everything we had built together—the love, the community, and the hope for a brighter future.

Later that evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the courtyard, I found a moment to steal away with Zeldris. We walked hand in hand through the blooming gardens, the soft petals brushing against our skin as we strolled.

"I can't believe we're finally planning our wedding," I said, my voice filled with excitement. "It feels like a dream."

Zeldris chuckled softly, his gaze fixed on me. "It is a dream, but it's one we've worked hard to make a reality. I'm grateful to have you by my side, (Y/n). You've brought so much light into my life."
