.
I know that you are wondering when our main characters would enter, I request you all to please be patient for a chapter or so .. these chapters are important for you to know about Yuemei and her family and how she unravels the mystery of who she is...
.
On with the story...
.After San-er excused herself with a quick bow, Yuemei found herself alone in her room. She moved to the wide window seat and settled in, gazing out at the distant mountains cloaked in the soft hues of twilight. The tranquil view did little to soothe her racing mind.
The world is heading toward chaos, she thought solemnly. She might not know everything about this world, but she did know enough to recognize the impending storm.
The events of Mo Dao Zu Shi played out in her mind like a haunting melody. From the Gusu lectures to the Sunshot Campaign, each moment cascaded into tragedy. Could I really change it? she wondered.
But the more she thought, the clearer it became: the story's trajectory was dictated by two main factors. First, Wen Ruohan's insatiable hunger for power, and second, the glaring lack of rapport among the young masters of the major sects.
The first problem, she admitted with a sigh, was largely beyond her control. Wen Ruohan's ambitions were like a festering wound on this world's peace, and she had no idea how to tackle someone so deeply entrenched in his path.
But the second issue? That, she could address.
The young masters of the great sects - Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, Jin Zixuan, Jiang Cheng and Nie Huaisang-had been rivals at best and antagonistic at worst. If she could somehow forge friendships among them, perhaps their united front could withstand the tides of war.
It won't be easy, she mused. This was not the 21st century, where open conversations and camaraderie were commonplace. Here, her every action would be scrutinized. A noble young lady interacting openly with sect heirs? It would be scandalous.
Still, the thought of leaving things as they were-of letting Wei Wuxian, Yunmeng Jiang, and even Lan Wangji suffer-was unbearable. She had to try.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door, followed by a cheerful male voice. "Jiejie, are you in ?"
Feng Yuemei's heart skipped a beat. Brother. She had yet to meet the young master of the Feng Sect, but she immediately responded positively.
The door opened, and thing master Feng strode in with an easy confidence. He was tall, with striking features that mirrored the beauty of their family. His sharp jawline and warm, teasing smile could have graced the pages of a magazine in her old world.
