Hanji's POV~
From how shocked I was last night about Levi's unusual behavior, I thought he might have left while I was sleeping. But he wasn't. He was still here with me, and everything that happened yesterday wasn't a dream. My movements under his arms made him awake.

"I'm sorry. You can go back to sleep." Instead of grunting and going back to sleep, his eyes were still open and smiles down.

"I never want to sleep again. Because then I would lose time of seeing you." He was still the same loving Levi version yesterday. I blushed to his response. "I think we should head back to headquarters now." His head turned to the direction of our destination. I didn't want to go back. I wanted to stay here forever to let us be here alone with no one to bother us.

"But I want to stay here. I don't want to go back and tell-" I caught myself right on time. Levi can't know about my secret. If he does know, then I don't know what would happen. It seemed that he didn't hear me which was a relief.

The sun was shining as bright as ever in any average morning. We both start to make our way to headquarters. I guess it would be safer to be inside, but we could be free out here. The titans were the only trouble, and we could handle it. At least, I could be free from him. Or at least temporarily.

"Oi Hanji. Everything alright?" He asks. His voice always seemed stern, but you know that he means well.

"Oh! Uhh... Yes! Everything is fine! But... What do you think Erwin would think about us... You know... Together...?" Erwin was actually one of the most people I feared of, and I usually don't get scared of others. Especially when he hears about me and Levi, he's sure to suspect something.

"Tsk. I don't think he'd care. That old fart needs to get out of our business if he cares." But it is his business. It's obvious now that he didn't know about me and Erwin. Should I tell Levi the truth? It can wait. Maybe when we reach headquarter's front door.

"Y-yea. He shouldn't mind." I try to say like I didn't care at all. Levi turns his head and kisses my lips again.

"So don't worry about what others think." I only sighed and rested my head on his shoulder as we walked to headquarters. (A/N: I know. Levi is short. Lets just roll with it.)

Erwin's POV~

Waiting for Hanji and Levi wasn't too much of a worry. They're coming back, and I know it. If Hanji went to go after Levi, I'm sure she would have found him at some point. If she wanted something, she'd get it somehow.

Looking out of the window from my office, two figures were together. Anyone could tell who they were. Word was spread out that Levi and Hanji were missing throughout the whole corps already.

"Good. I see that they've made it through. I can't wait to welcome back those two. Especially Hanji."

Hanji's POV~

Our safety was up ahead at headquarters. The flat land was easy for us to walk on a long distance.

"Hanji look. We're almost there." Levi points his finger to the old castle. His mouth was pulled into the smallest smile you would ever see. It would make sense for you to be delighted and cheerful when you're safe, but I didn't feel that way. Levi saw my face the closer we went.

"Oi. What's the matter shitty glasses?" Levi glared at me. His hard black eyes threw daggers to mine. He could tell that I didn't feel well about this.

"N-nothing's wrong Levi! I was just um..." I tried to think of a snappy reply, but it was no use. Levi pulls on my hair and kisses my lips again.

"What are you so worried about?" We stopped walking, and Levi pulls me down to the grassy floor to sit with him. His eyes were still the same from earlier when he asked this question before.

I couldn't tell him the truth now. There's no way. He'd break up with me right here if I told him.

"Hanji! What is it?" Is there any way that I could tell him without making it sound like I was just fooling around with him this whole time? "Is it Petra? People spreading the word about us? Erwin?" His voice grew louder with every suggestion of what might be my problem. Especially his last word made my whole body shiver. Levi was incredibly intelligent as well. He could practically "read" your mind.

"Hanji. Is it about Erwin?" As I look up with tears flooding my eyes, Levi didn't have his expressionless mask on. His face had care and love in it.

"U-um Levi. I have to tell you something," he'll eventually figure out sooner or later. My heart ached and my stomach felt like it was turning inside out with butterflies in them. And they weren't the good butterflies either. "I-I'm... Actually married to Erwin already." Telling him the truth did release that anxiety that haunted my mind this whole time. But then a new feeling came into my heart.

Is Levi crushed now? What's his reaction? Does he hate me now?

As I lifted my head up to see his reaction, I didn't know how to react to it. It was blank, and he stared down to the grass. Was there any way to comfort him?

"Levi. Please. This whole thing... If you know how Erwin really treats me... Levi?" There were really no words in the human race that could comfort anyone who is in this situation. When his arms were trembling, his face turned into sadness. Sadness then melted into sobbing.

I lifted my hands to cup his face. "Levi. Please. Don't cry. I'll try to-" but he cuts me off by slapping my hands away from him.

"You can't try anything. If you and eyebrows are together, why didn't you tell me instead of making me look like an idiot?" He finally looked up at me, and I've never seen him cry before. This isn't how this should turn out to be! Well actually, I didn't know how this should have turned out.

"L-Levi. If you know how what Erwin does to me... Ummm... You'll understand..." Was there really anything I could do? Levi still glares at me with sadness, but wipes his years away.

"Tsk. Whatever. Let's just go back to headquarters, and forget everything that happened here." He gets up from his kneeling position, and never said a word as we walked. It was awkward of course, but I couldn't blame him. Just imagine it: when you think someone loves you so much, but then they turn you down.

There was no point in telling him what Erwin does to me anyways. He might not believe me, or just ignores me.

I'm sorry Levi. Really. I whispered to myself.

A/N: Ummmm.... Well just help correct me with my grammar. Because there were some parts I had trouble with. And thanks for reading! If it starts to get confusing, then please comment and tell me so I can fix the problem. Byeeee!!!
