A/N: ok, so it's starting to get a little better. Thank you for the ones who supported me in every way, and helped lifted my spirits from my last chapter! Now I really need your help because I can't just have one vote (even though I really do appreciate it so much caylovescake! Sorry if you commented earlier. I can't keep updating names, so I'm just going to go along with what is going on now). So should I make the story longer, or short and sweet? Please help. I can't decide. Thank you! Also, @thekittyoflife is now my beta reader! Woo! Thank you. And sorry for the mysterious update (if you got it idk) for my previous chapter. I made a typo. Ha. Lol.

Petra's POV~

Yesterday was nothing but walking around the whole headquarters. Of course I did eat and sleep, but I didn't have time to relax. I should get out of my shell and get to know about others. That would have been a nice thought when I first joined the corps. That way, there could have been a good chance that I would have met Mike, and not have to search the whole headquarters for him!

I turned my head towards the clock, which showed that it was 7:00 AM. I fixed my outfit and slowly put on my harness belts. They weren't as hard to but on the first time I had to put them on. It just took a lot of practice. The more you practice, the easier it is. Only if only life were like that. I sighed to myself looking at the mirror.

To start on my search for Mike again, I planed to go to his office first. The idea was so simple! Why didn't I do that before?

As I opened my bedroom door to the hallway, Auruo leans his back against the wall next to the door frame. When I spotted him wearing that same ridiculous cravat, I scoff at his stupid attempt to imitate Levi.

"Tsk. What's the matter with you Petra?" I jerk my head to his way with an annoyed expression.

"I don't want to hear your useless blabbering right now Auruo. Unless you have something productive to say or something that isn't related to imitate Levi, then I won't listen. If you don't, then zip it because I have something to do." I glared at him for a moment to wait for what he has to say. I glared at him for a minute, but he was still in the same position. Apparently he doesn't have anything that's important, so I turn around with my nose up.

He can be so annoying sometimes. Levi acts nothing like that. He needs to learn how not to annoy others, especially his own girlfriend. Despicable.

My feet tapped up the stairs to the second floor where all of my superiors are. Each door had a little sign to show who's office was who's. Erwin, Hanji, Levi... Mike! I straightened my hair to make myself look presentable in front of a superior. As my hand was about to knock on the heavy oak door, it opened. The first thing I saw was his belt buckle! I never realized how tall he was.

"Oh good morning. What's your name?" He smiles. I had to lift my head up to see his face!

"Oh! Um, my name is Petra Ral." I salute to him. Set a good impression Petra, don't sound wimpy.

"Hello Petra. Is there anything I can help you with?" He asks nicely. He isn't as intimidating as his height. I straightened my posture to show more confidence.

"May I ask you where Commander Erwin is please?" Mike doesn't seem suspicious of me at all, or at least I don't think he does. He simply smiles at me again.

"Erwin is gone for the week to Sina. Is there anything wrong?" Everything he says sounded sweet and innocent. Was he just pretending, or is he just genuinely nice? I've never met him before.

"Oh really?" I ask, realizing that I sounded like a total idiot. He said he was gone, so why question it? Stupid! The abnormally tall human nodded his head, and he didn't have that look of annoyance of repeating himself. "Well, thank you very much Mike!" I salute again. Mike waves goodbye to me as I almost skip down the hallway in excitement and joy. I can't wait to tell Corporal Levi about the discovery I've made!
