Foroza: "They're not too bad. It's a shame Guy himself didn't come."

Foroza and his motley crew were still observing the battle from the throne with disdain as if the battle was beneath their stations.

Damian: "I agree, my lord. He really is insolent to not take care of matters with his own hands."

Squall: "Damn you!!!"

Angel: "Oi oi! Don't look away from our fight!"

Squall blocks the angel's strike and retaliates with a spinning kick and a wild frenzy of slashes that lacked openings to the angel's surprise. Every time the angel tried to retaliate, Squall would instantly counter with a magicule-infused punch or kick, and sometimes even his head.

Paradix: "He's right you know."

The angel backs off and sees Paradix, but no Cornu.

Angel: "What?! Where's Cornu-sama?!"

Paradix: "It should be obvious by now. He's dead."

Paradix says this nonchalantly which angers the angel immensely. This angel was one of Cornu's closest subordinates and would not hesitate to betray even Feldway if Cornu wanted to do so. The angel rushes straight at Paradix aggressively, ignoring Squall who unexpectedly counters the attack.

Squall: "Now you're the one who's looking away!"

Angel: "I've had enough of you, pathetic demons!!!"

The angel, tired of the pressure, released a powerful magicule implosion that pushed Squall away, but that only stirred up Squall's determination as he rushed back in to defeat the angel.

The other demon generals didn't face a significant challenge either. It was Guy aka Rimuru's personality who allowed the demons' skills to truly flourish. What wasn't revealed was that Guy has a soft spot for his subordinates which isn't shown to anybody else. It wouldn't be a surprise if the demon generals didn't know they each receive kind treatment. It was for this reason that Guy's subordinates vigorously dedicated themselves to training to better serve Guy.

The duel also wasn't much of a challenge for Paradix. Somehow, she gained access to Rimuru's nihility energy that resulted in Cornu's swift execution.

Guy: "Must've been her fanaticism."

Guy was watching the battle from his castle alongside Veldora and Velzard who were enjoying some tea and snacks. Mainly Veldora who was unaccustomed to eating as he finally got his humanoid body. Guy's eyes wandered from the magic ball to the individual Veldora who was eyeing Velzard and Guy's interactions. Guy couldn't believe that the beauty in front of him was actually Veldora. He looked like another version of Velzard but with blonde hair and a flat chest.

Veldora: "I see... so this is what a male is supposed to look like."

Velzard: "Don't copy the entirety of someone's appearance. Make it unique. Make it your own."
