15: Recuperating

Velzard had just teleported back to the castle after picking up Gaia. Guy was with Milim and played with her for a while, doing 'minor' combat training.

Guy: "Well done Milim! That was a pretty good punch!"

Milim: "Ugh, but I can never hit you!"

Velzard: "How's it going here?"

Milim was on the ground, eyes closed and breathless. Guy looked very relaxed and waved at Velzard.

Milim: "Gaia!!! Thanks for picking him up aunt Velzard!"

Velzard: "No worries, I'm sure he was getting lonely without you."

Guy: "So I guess this means you'll be officially staying over with us, right?"

Milim: "Yeah!"

Velzard: "Really?"

Milim: "I don't really like uncle Rudra and I could never do combat training and..."

Milim started to stutter and get depressed and Velzard immediately went up to her and hugged her tight.

Velzard: "It's okay, you can stay with us."

Milim: "Really?"

Velzard's sharp gaze cut into my heart so I affirmed Velzard's words.

Guy: "Yeah, yeah! You're free to stay here anytime and for as long as you want."

Milim: "Yay!"

Guy sighed and contemplated the peace and quiet he had before, just for a little. The trio went up the castle to enjoy some lunch. Rain was waiting and greeted Milim who ran into the dining area instantaneously, and damaged the door.

Rain: "Hey Milim!"

Milim: "Hey Rain onee-chan!"

Rain: "Teeheeheehee!"

The three sat at the circular table. As Rain overshadowed Guy, Misery came out with food. She had to carry some with magic since someone forgot to help out. Misery shot glares at Rain, who closed her eyes and smiled as usual.

Milim: "Rain nee-chan, won't you join us?"

Rain: "Sure! Of course I can, Milim!"

Without waiting for Guy's approval, Rain materialised another chair and sat at the table with everyone else. She motioned for Misery, who could do nothing but sigh, to bring her a serving of lunch. Guy wanted to protest but stopped after thinking that Milim will be disappointed.

Milim observed her meal. Spaghetti bolognaise with some chilli and extra cheese, a few juicy meatballs, a sparkling grape soda, and-

Misery: "-Salad."

Milim: "Salad?!"

Velzard: "It's good to have something healthy Milim, or you won't grow big and strong!"

Milim: "Will I be able to beat Guy?"

Velzard: "Yes! Of course you can!"

Another wave of glares met up with Guy, who sighed once again and begun eating his spaghetti. He glanced at Milim who buried herself into the spaghetti as well as the salad.

Guy: Damn, should've asked for some more sauce.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Misery: "Velgrynd-sama has come to visit."

Guy: "Let her in."

The group waited for a bit until Velgrynd marched her way to where the group was enjoying lunch.
