*3rd pov*

"Hearing your sides of the story has made everything much clearer, but... ...What concerns me the most is the whereabouts of the key to the Earl's quarters. As it stands, only Sebastian, who was in possession of the key, could have killed Mister Phelps, but... ...If the key had passed into the hands of another, that would change matters." Arthur said. "But now that Sebastian has been killed, can it not be said that if anyone does have the key, that person is the culprit?" Ciel holds (Y/n). "Quite." Arthur nods.

"Then we first have to check whether or not the butler has the key. If he does have it, consider that theory squashed." Charles Grey said. "You're right. To that point, I think it best that we always conduct ourselves in groups from now on. I do not wish to have a lady accompany us to the makeshift morgue, so... ...Miss Irene and Mister Grimsby, if you would please remain here." Arthur turns to them. "All right." Grimsby nods. "And... ...Mister Woodley as well..." Arthur said. "Hmph." Woodley rubs the side of his head. "I'll be fine here, enjoying some tea with Ran-Mao!" Lau said. "I've nothing to do here, so I'll come wiiiith–!" Charles Grey volunteers. "Sounds fun! Claude and I will join as well!" Alois grins.

"Earl Phantomhive, I do hate to impose, but would you take us around the manor?" Arthur turns to Ciel. "Very well. As the servants are more familiar with the manor below stairs, let's have the way. All right?" Ciel turns to the servants. "Yes, young master." Bard and Finny said while Pluto nodded. "Tanaka, Mey-Rin, Joker, and Dagger. Stay here and see to our guests." Ciel orders. "Yes, sir." They bow. "Let's be off, then."

*Downstairs.*

"In this setting, I half expect a ghost or the like to pop cut at any moment." Arthur said which Charles Grey freaks out. "Hey, cut that ouuut!! There's no such thing as ghosts!! 'Cos I only believe in what I can cut down with my sword!!" Charles Grey holds Ciel's arm while Alois holds (Y/n). "Then can you try your hand at walking without clinging on to me?" Ciel tells him. "I figured you might be scared, so I was only taking the trouble of comforting you..." Charles Grey makes an excuse while Alois laughs. "Gentlemen, we're here." Bard said and opened the door to see the three bodies covered.

"When handlin' the corpses, please use these gloves, if ya would." Bard hands them gloves. "...!" Finny stares. "Good thinking! Thank you." Arthur takes the gloves. "....." Ciel puts on gloves as (Y/n) climbs to Ciel's head. "Then if I may beg your pardon, Sebastian..." Arthur lifts the cover to see Sebastian all wet. "!? He's wet!?"

'That's what she said.' (Y/n) thought. "I'll bet it's from the rain leakin' in through the roof." Bard looks up. "Poor Mister Sebastian!! C'mon, let's move him!" Finny shouts. "Yes, let's. The water hasten decay, after all." Arthur said. "De...cay..." Finny mutters. "Not to mention undressing him in order to investigate further will be quite troublesome since rigor mortis has set in. So let's first turn him over and–" Arthur gets cut off. "STOP IT!!" Finny shouts. "Please don't treat Mister Sebastian like a thing!!" Finny steps in to block Arthur from Sebastian. "Whoa!"

"Mister Sebastian is our dear–" Finny gets cut off. "Finny. If you're going to carry on like this, get out. You're in the way. We can move him later, the key comes first. It... doesn't seem to be on his albert chain." Ciel holds the pocket watch. Finny looks defeated as Bard goes to put a hand on his shoulder and Pluto stays by his side. "Did he maybe wear it 'round his neck?" Charles Grey questions. "Let's see." Arthur said.

"......It's not there either." Ciel said. "Would it not perhaps make sense for it to be in his private room?" Arthur buttons up Sebastian's shirt. "Come along, we'll have a look." Ciel said.

*Sebastian's room*

"This is Sebastian's room." (Y/n) rushes to the bed and lays there. "It's fairly large, isn't it?" Arthur looks around. "He was an upper servant." Bard explains. "Do you lot have any idea where he might hide a key?" Ciel questions them. "This's the first time we've been in here, so..." Bard rubs the back of his head. "I myself have only come into this room twice since I assigned it to him." Ciel said. "(Y/n), do you know where it is?" Alois holds the cat up. "Meow." (Y/n) licks Alois's nose. "The kitty can't talk." Charles Grey said while the one who knew looked away. "Aww, let's just start with all the places that look like they'd be good for hiding valuables!"
