Kazuya didn't in the least leave their side, not until all of their meals had diminished at least. They had no reason to hang around at the restaurant and Jun was done with her hair appointment too.
"And you guys had lunch?" Jun exclaimed in shock. "Without me?!"
Kazuya smirked as he held up a cardboard container typically used for noodle soup. "Says who? Got you some miso udon with extra kombu."
"And some temaki on the side," Jin added, holding up a paper bag of hand rolls. "It came with the set."
Jun was touched. "Aww." But that reminded her of something. "What about Amber?"
"She went out to eat with Lee and Anna," Lars added.
"With Heihachi on the side," Steve smirked.
That was surprising info. "Wait, did we leave them alone in the chalet? Because I know Xiao went out with the other girls."
Kazuya nodded. "We did."
Jun groaned. "Why am I just learning of this?"
"Mom, I'm sure they're fine," Jin sighed. "Also, what did you actually do with your hair? I don't see any difference."
"No difference?!" Jun gasped. "Jin! It clearly feels silkier, see?" She held up a lock of her hand. "See? Softer, silkier."
Kazuya couldn't help but snort slightly as he put an arm around her. "Smells nice too."
"Yeah!" Jun pointed out. "Jin never really understood my hair treatments."
Lars smirked at Jin. "Not like he doesn't get them himself."
"I just go to relax, okay?" Jin sighed. "Feels nice to have your scalp scrubbed and... be pampered like a king."
"Like we don't already treat you like that," Steve grinned as he gave his friend a light punch. "Anyway, let's go back to the resort."

Heihachi looked up when Jin sulkily entered the room and immediately put his book away. "Did you guys make any plans while you were out?"
Jin shook his head. "We all thought Dad was gonna stay at the salon, but turns out he only sat there while Mom got her treatment. He ended up bugging us the entire time since it was too boring waiting for it to end."
"So, you guys planned nothing?" Heihachi sighed.
"Nada," Jin sighed as well. "But we are thinking of hosting another meeting here tonight. Steve wouldn't come, but Lars said he might try."
Heihachi nodded. "Okay. But maybe we can wait until we get back as well."
Jin nodded, frowning slightly. He stared at Heihachi for a moment, then at the door. "Can I ask you something?"
"What's up?"
"Why are you sitting here instead of the living room if you're just gonna read a book?" Jin asked, sounding confused.
Heihachi smirked and pointed at the humidifier that emitted the soothing scent of sandalwood oil. "Feels nice here because of that... humidity fire."
"It's humidifier," Jin snorted. "But I'm glad that you like it. Make sure you dump out the water and pack it with you when we're leaving."
"Yeah, I will," Heihachi smirked, gazing at the device. "I can't possibly forget that, can I? Maybe I'll put that in the living room."
"You can put that in your bedroom and get a bigger one for your living room," Jin added. "I don't remember much of the beach house, since I've only been there once, but the living room is pretty vast, right?"
Heihachi nodded. "Yeah. Maybe we can buy it during our shopping trip."
"That won't be necessary," Jin shook his head and pulled his phone out. "I'll just send you the link. We got it online."
"Oh," Heihachi smiled. "Thanks."
It still felt strange how they were on peaceful terms now, casual even.
"Jin?" Heihachi called.
Jin nodded his chin upwards, wordlessly acknowledging his question.
"Thank you for letting me stay with you," Heihachi smiled.
"Sure," Jin looked a little surprised, but spared a small smile. "I guess... it's nice staying with you too."
"Nothing like the Old Fart?"
"Nothing like the Old Fart," Jin smirked. "I like how all of us call him that."
Heihachi laughed. "Yeah, I like that too."
There was a knock on the open door and the two men turned to see Amber come in. She looked about and closed the door before pulling the vanity chair to face them before sitting down.
"What's up?" Jin asked, folding his legs as he turned to face her.
"She's in on our secret plan," Heihachi smirked. "Apparently, she wants to help with the shopping."
Jin turned to Amber in surprise. "Really?"
Amber nodded. "Yes. I feel like doing something for this party as well." She sighed. "Also because you guys kinda just pulled in two people without asking them first."
"Nah, Steve spoke to them," Jin leaned back. "And they both named a price."
"That doesn't sound like them," Amber frowned. "Because as far as I know, they aren't one to ask for payments."
Jin nodded. "Not that sort of price, the way Steve said it made me wonder that too, actually. I thought they were asking for millions."
Amber groaned. "Jin, seriously?"
"I know, I know, I don't know them as well as I should," Jin admitted with a sigh. "But. They agreed to help."
"What did they ask for?" Heihachi asked. "I can settled it if you want."
Jin shrugged. "Hwo asked to go to the spa, Steve is taking care of that now, and Shasha wants to go for high-tea with them since you're treating Hwoarang anyway. They're besties for some reason. I actually have no idea how they even became friends."
"Nina story," Amber added.
"Yeah, but with Steve?" Jin pointed out.
Amber gave him an annoyed look as she leaned forward to look at him. "Jin, who is Steve?"
Jin shook his head and sighed. "Fine."
Heihachi shrugged. "Looks like lots of stuff had been happening before my arrival."
"Lots," Amber nodded in agreement. She gazed at Heihachi and sighed. "Look, I'm sorry for the other night. I really didn't mean to scare you like that."
"No, it's okay," Heihachi sighed. "I'm sorry for jumping you like that."
Jin snorted, then snickered before finally bursting into hearty laughter.
"What's so funny?" Amber frowned, knowing full well what it was.
Jin tried to speak between laughter. "I can't."
Heihachi smirked, finding it amusing as well. "I know, this is cheesy, ain't it?"
Amber groaned. "Cheesy?"
"Tell me if it isn't," Jin smirked.
"Fine," Amber gave in, a small smile on her face. "This is quite cheesy."

Shasha sighed as she sat on a bench, the waves clashing against the shoreline far ahead. She looked up when Nina came over, wordlessly seating herself beside her to watch as well.
"It sucks that we're leaving tomorrow," Shasha sighed.
Nina nodded, watching Adam fooled about with Steve in the distance. "Yeah. Must be nice to live by the beach. Heihachi's a lucky idiot."
Shasha couldn't help but snort. "I would never get bored living in a beachside house." She turned to Nina. "Should I consider getting a house beside his so that I don't have to run around like a nomad whenever I'm visiting you guys?"
Nina gave her a slight backhand.
"It's true," Shasha shrugged. "Ever since I got to Japan, I've been moving around. First, I was living at an apartment in the Mishima Zaibatsu beside Josie's, then I considered moving to your home but couldn't since you guys had guests too, then moved to Anna's and got super bored there, and ended up hanging around with you guys instead, and now I'm sharing a room with Asuka."
"I didn't really think of that," Nina frowned as she realised that it must've been annoying to move about like that. "Maybe you should get a place, maybe not by the beach."
"Why not?" Shasha frowned.
"Japan gets more than a thousand earthquakes in a year, maybe rent an apartment or a smaller place," Nina said. "Besides, you don't always come here. You're still welcome to stay with us whenever you want."
Shasha shrugged. "Well, I guess I just want some place to call mine here. But I don't wanna permanently move here, I love my hometown too much." She sighed. "Maybe I should find a homestay or something whenever I visit. You know, just have a place."
"I think Jin might be able to arrange one of the Mishima Zaibatsu apartments for you," Nina suggested. "You know, with Josie?"
"Where's the fun in that?" Shasha shook her head. "I can't loiter around much outside. I'm not a fan of apartments."
Nina smirked. "Well, same."
"Maybe I'll find a homestay whenever I come," Shasha smiled as she turned to the beach.
She sighed as another thought plagued her mind.
"Is something wrong?" Nina asked, noticing the change in her expression.
Shasha just shrugged in reply.
