Hey guys! Here is Chapter 14! I am about to go on yet another vacation and will not have access to internet. I am trying to stock you up for my absence XD. Some mild suggestiveness (and language) ahead but nothing crazy..Enjoy...

"Cause somehow it seems when I am with you. That all of my dreams begin to come true. And carefully you carry me away." Thunderstruck by Owl City

"So did you ever think about how we are going to get this in the house when we get home?" I asked as Chris drove a little slower than usual as we approached town. He chuckled and glanced at me.

"What?"

"You called my house your home." he said gently, smiling at me. I nodded and he took my hand.

Once we got home, it was hell getting our fat Christmas tree into the house. By the time we squeezed it through the door, half the needles were gone and it looked like a fatter version of Charlie Brown's Christmas tree.

While Chris swept up as many pine needles as he could, I started the lights and was able to get them on the tree as best I could. Once Chris was done with that he walked over and surveyed my work. He held back laughter; that smile coming back.

"What?" I asked defensively, placing an ornament on.

"It looks awful." he said, still fighting back that laughter.

"No it doesn't!" I defended, standing beside him to survey my work...okay it could be better. I nodded.

"Okay maybe just a little bit." I said quietly, dropping my eyes. The world spun as Chris swooped me up and threw me over his shoulder. "I was just kidding silly!" he said, spinning me.

"Chris! Stop it! I'm gonna be sick!" I screamed, clawing at his back. His spine stuck through the skin, making me recoil a bit.

"Get ready! Body slam!" he shouted in one of signature growls. With that he tossed me down on the couch. He immediately moved to pin me down.

"What the hell!?" I shouted as he smiled. He leaned closer to me and his lips met mine. It was the first time we had actually kissed in a while. The thoughts of William disappeared with every sweet heated kiss. I was safe and warm. Chris was here, he'd protect me (maybe not from himself but William most definitely).

I bit down on his piercings and he exhaled deeply.

He continued kissing me, my heart fluttering. His breath quickened and I could fell his heart as he pulled his shirt off. He wrestled with mine but soon accomplished it. He stopped after a few moments.

"Irina."

"Yes?" I asked, out of breath.

"I-I-" He trailed off.

"Chris," I his face in my hands.

"I love you. Just be you." I said gently, brushing the piercings with my thumbs. He gave me a small smile. He took my wrists in his hands and gently kissed the scars now had healed as much as they ever would.

"I love you too...all of you." he said, trying to push past my bra. I rolled my eyes and giggled.

"Come on." And with that he led me up the stairs and to our room.

I awoke to darkness. My eyes were open but all I saw was black. I reached out and felt nothing. "Hello?" I asked, fear overcoming me. "It's alright, I'm here." I moved towards the voice and wrapped my arms around it. "Chris! I was so scared!" He chuckled.

"I'm sure you were, Rina." I jumped back as William appeared. A light just illuminated his face, but he was still just as terrifying. "I'm coming for you." He darted towards me and his body covered mine. I fought it and then the room became lighter.

"Irina! Wake up! Stop it!" It took me a moment to come to a realization that I was smacking Chris. I immediately recoiled and flopped right out of the bed. I scooted towards the wall and tried to gather my thoughts.

"Irina." Chris slowly moved towards me. I wanted to run, still dazed from William's threat, but I couldn't.

"What were you dreaming about?" he asked softly, leaning towards me. I slowed my breath and looked at him.

"I just...there was a dog...and it bit me." I lied. He nodded and I wanted to leave. Go outside and get some bitter air.

Instead he pulled me back onto the bed. I let him wrap his arms around me and gently rub my arm as I fell back asleep.

I awoke to an empty bed and immediately went to go find Chris. I found him standing out on the porch, the sky an angry gray. He was still shirtless and barefoot...he wasn't moving. I stepped outside and walked over to him.

I didn't even know if he realized that I was with him. I gently wrapped my sweater around his chilled arm. He jumped a little and withdrew himself from my embrace.

"What's wrong?" I asked, the happiness from last night fading. He stayed quiet, resting his elbows on the railing.

"Chris, please what's wrong." He dropped his eyes and then looked at me.

"You're so young." he whispered quietly. "What? Is this about last night?" I asked. He maintained his quiet stance. I threw away all fear of upsetting him. I grabbed his face with both of my hands and met his eyes.

"Chris, I don't understand why you are so torn up about that. I'm old enough! Listen, what we shared last night was not just a fuck." He flinched at my words but didn't pull away. "I don't know what you felt, but I know I felt something."

I dropped his face and turned away anger getting the best of me.

"Irina, I-I'm sorry." I felt his hand on my arm.

"I felt something...that's what I'm afraid of." he whispered. I turned to him.

"Why?" I asked, anger filling me.

"I don't want to hurt you." he said, his voice almost breaking. I fell into him and wrapped my arms around him. I could feel the small indentions I had left from the night before.

"You have done the exact opposite! You've saved me Chris...no one has ever been this good to me." I said, my voice muffled by his chest. He kissed the top of my head.

"I'm sorry." he whispered. I nodded and started for door.

"Get inside before you freeze."
