"Chris!" I stared at myself in the mirror, ready to boil over.

"What?" Chris slid into the room in his socks, a bow tie around his neck. His hair was down, his make-up fierce and making his eyes pop.

"What is this?" I was referring to my attire.

When I had trusted him with the costumes, I hadn't expected thigh highs and barely a dress. The dress was cute no doubt, blue, white and black with a big bow in the back and a tiny petticoat to go with it. He even got me black pumps to match it.

"That's your costume." He covered his smile, trying to fight back laughter.

"Chris! This is lingerie!" I squealed, looking back into the mirror. "Hey just be happy I didn't get the bloody one." he retorted, giving me a devilish grin.

"Well what are you wearing?" I shot back. He swooped a top hat off of the bed and pulled on a tattered suit's jacket. "Your Mad Hatter." He bowed playfully. He did look quite adorable. I shook my head.

"Listen, at least clear this with me next time, okay?" He held up his hands in defeat. "Yes ma'am." he said. "We gotta go." he said, checking his phone. "After you." I started out and I could swear I heard a "damn girl" escape his lips as I left the room.

As we sped off towards Scranton, I couldn't help but check my messages again. He had started messaging me more frequently in the last few days. My mind flipped to him. He was almost as bad as dad. They actually got along pretty well....too well. We had a nasty break up, and ever since then he has wanted revenge. His last message said, I will find you, and you will be sorry you ever knew me.

"Irina, we're here." I jumped. How had time gone by that fast? "You okay?" he asked as I handed him the phone to keep safe for now (I didn't have any pockets).

"Great!" I said, smiling. We exited the car as the sky began to darken. He snaked an arm around my waist and we went around back where two burly security guards stood. Chris reached into his pocket and showed them a card.

They nodded and we entered the club. The music was deafening, but somehow I felt calmed. The music that was playing didn't sound anything like the type of music that would be near Chris' but I just assumed it was a dance club, that's how things worked. We walked down a hallway and he knocked on a door.

"Come in!" He opened the door and we stepped inside. The room smelled like air freshener had just been sprayed and as soon as they saw Chris, the guys jumped up and hugged him. They shared festivities while I scooted awkwardly into the room. A girl with dark hair and eyes smiled at them.

"Are they always like this?" I asked as they fist bumped and caught up on each other's lives. She nodded. "Yep. I'm Allie." she said, extending her hand. "I'm Irina, it's nice to meet you." She smiled bigger and reveal vampire fangs. She was a vampire for Halloween.

"Guys, I want you to meet someone really special." Chris weaved his way through them and came to my side. "This is Irina." The guys all smiled. "That's Ryan, and his girlfriend Allie, which I assume you've met."

One of the boys dressed in a steampunk looking jacket smiled and waved to me. "This is Ricky." Ricky smiled, his pale white face paint startling me.

"That's Josh...he's the creepy one."

"Hey! Don't scare her off before we've had a chance to get used to her!" Josh said, his zombie make up pretty realistic. "That's Devin, the quiet one." Devin smiled before he pulled on a creepy mask.
