love me please.

it had been a week since the supposedly fight between her and the blonde jerk. she didn't know why he kept appearing in her mind, and she was annoyed with herself for feeling guilty.

today, she was heading off to work, hopes high that she could finally get some real food for her and Adam. her pay was supposed to be given today, thus making her wanting to buy some healthy food instead of the daily dose of McDonald's and KFC. Adam wanted subway anyways - maybe she could get some today.

it was midday, when she finished cleaning the toilets, and she found herself bumping into her Chinese boss. she was quite pleased with how George treats her, even if she was just a cleaner.

"hey Andy, you look happy." he said, his Chinese slang dripping off his words.

"yeah, I am. paycheck's coming in today, right?" she grinned at him, and George just chuckled along.

"speaking of which, c'mon - let's talk in my room."

George was head of the department, meaning he had a real room instead of a cubicle.

"I'm highly impressed with your devotion in working here, so I wanted to give you some kind of bonus."

they were seated across from each other, and Andy couldn't help her wide smile that exploded on her lips. who didn't like bonuses? especially when she needs them.

"you serious, boss?" he just nodded, and smiled at her.

"I think you really need it. you've got Adam to take care off - and I want you to find somewhere better to live. the warehouse ought to be needed again soon."

Andy frowned at the mention of the warehouse. George knew how broken Andrea was, since that was the main reason she was accepted at the workplace. he found her finding for jobs, and she seemed decent enough. George accepted her right there right then anyways.

"I'll be paying you 750 from now on. and don't mention it to the others, it's a special bonus for you anyways." George gestured, passing her a brown envelope.

the others received more, since they had real jobs. but the pay that they received were typical for anyone to survive enough. Andrea knew George did this without permission. he did this because he wanted too. who was she to push the offer away?

"you serious about this?" she asked, her eyebrows slightly raised.

"just take it Andy, before I take it back." her boss smirked and Andy accepted the envelope happily.

"you're not bluffing me or anything right?" Andy teasily asked, earning a shake of the head from her boss.

she thanked him and walked out of the office, with permission to leave the office early that day.

subway was slightly crowded with people, but not too many for her to push the holy thoughts of subway away. she walked in, noticing that her shoelaces were slightly entangled but soon found herself bumping into a wall.

or a hard body. she couldn't really tell the difference.

the man held her hips, gripping on her sides, as she held his him by the biceps. but as soon as they looked at each other, they grimaced and let go of their grips.

"Sorry." she murmured, trying not to act awkward around him.

"Still blind?" he scoffed, making Andy roll her eyes and mentally groan at how foolish he acted.

"Well at least somebody remembers me. hey, I am the girl you literally knocked the life out of!" she shouted, but not loud enough for others to turn and stare. it felt like they were the only ones who were in their own world.

his eyes widened, and he huffed out a sigh before licking his lips to say something. he kept biting his lip and she had only noticed that he had a lip ring on his lower lip.

"S-so, y-you're a-," he stuttered, and stopped before he could stutter anymore.

Andy couldn't help but roll her eyes. one minute ago he was so annoying and now he became a stuttering mess. such a hypocrite.

"What?" she felt some kind of dominance once he was stuttering. it made her feel some kind of power since he was nervous. well, for now that is.

"I didn't know. you can't just blame me." his blue eyes were boring themselves into her green ones, and she could feel his sincerity lacing his words, but she couldn't just accept his apology in trade of three hits.

"You didn't know? can't you tell the difference, or are you that plain stupid?" venom dripped from her words, and as bad as she disliked it - she couldn't help but throw her anger at him.

"look, I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking straight! how was I supposed to know you were a girl?"

"oh, wow! that's the best you can do? are you serious right now? I'm not falling for your pathetic way of trying to be nice shit anyways."

"For the love of god, what the hell do you want me to do? beg for your forgiveness? get down on my knees?" he said, and his jaw was clenched, evidence that he was pissed.

"I don't know! I'm just pissed by the fact that you think you can kill anyone who gets in your way? I'm not even mad at you for hitting a girl, since I wasn't the most girliest person out there but seriously? didn't your parents raise you well huh." she scoffed, hissing behind her teeth. she didn't want to attract attention, thus resulting in hissing and scoffing instead of shouting and screaming like they did the other night.

"Keep your mouth shut! don't bring my parents into this you asshat! it's quite obvious your parents didn't raise you well enough either!" he shouted, and that was what attracted attention.

people were stopping and staring, making Andy close her eyes.

"Don't bring my parents into this!" she hissed, and tears were soon blinding her eyesight.

"you were the one who started it! I was just stating a well damn fact anyways! you're a tomboy and whatever you are, it's obvious your parents never cared anyways." he said, his smirk playing against his lips. he stopped shouting once he saw tears in her eyes, but he couldn't just simply acted like he cared.

"shut up! I don't know why I'm expecting you to be better anyways. just go away!" she said, her voice breaking slightly.

"my pleasure."

she barged her way in the shop, queuing behind a long line of people who had witnessed their small quarrel at the entrance of the store. she took large breaths to stop the tears from sliding down her rosy cheeks. they weren't rosy because she was shy - she was pissed.

she looked back to where she last saw him standing, and there he still stood - watching her every movement. she sighed and turned around slightly from him. she didn't like how he stared at her - full of sympathy. she didn't need it from him.

to be honest, she wasn't really expecting so highly of him. she just easily teared up at the mention of her late parents, and being a tomboy wasn't really a choice. it just confused her when he easily knew how those topics made her crumble inside. she didn't like being fragile.

especially in front of him.
