(don't know who you are, but you look like a star. everybody's here is going --- who's that boy?)
the sight of those people in front of her made her feel uneasy and slightly queasy. she didn't know if she should feel annoyed or disgusted or sorry she acted rude. all she knew now was that she needed to serve the customers, willingly or not.
she took a deep breath, and pushed away the fact that everyone at the table was staring at her. she passed the menus to them, and quickly walked away as she gave them time to decide on what to order.
but as soon as she passed them and quickly rushed to the back to call for Barry, she was immediately called back by Liz, and she took a deep breath and sighed before walking over.
she ignored eye contact, and grabbed the notepad out of her chest pocket of her flannel.
"may I get your orders please?"
they actually decided their orders quite fast, and as surprised as she was - she pushed the fact away. she knew they ordered the same orders as they did the other day. the faces were the same too, but this time there was a new addition.
Liz.
she should've guessed that she was related to Luke, or the jerk that has made her life miserable. their eyes had the same piercing blue effect, and that was what made Liz seem familiar somehow.
as soon as she rushed to the back to pass the orders at the kitchen, she stayed there. long enough for Barry to call her back to the front, saying that the customers were wanting to talk to her.
"no, I'm not going there. you settle them yourselves Barry." she whined, as Barry tugged on her arm to the counter.
"they just wanna talk Andy, I don't think it's wrong." he said, shrugging his shoulders and giving her a knowing look.
"it is against the working rules though. I'm in my working shift." she said, trying to let it go.
but Barry snorted at her words, "well that's some bullshit I smell honey. just go, could you?"
and with a push, she was out of the counter and lazily walking over to the booth that could easily fit six people. just great. such a fitting occasion. Andy sighed before clearing her throat.
"oh Andy, come on, take a seat." Liz gestured to the empty seat next to the blonde haired dude who made her sick. she rolled her eyes before sitting next to him, with no intention of physical contact.
but luck wasn't on her side that day.
the jerk just had to take up her place, so when she tried to sit on the cushions at the booth, she landed in his lap instead.
"watch where you sit, would you?" hissed Luke behind his gritted teeth as Andy jolted up from her current seat, that was actually Luke's thighs.
she scoffed at how rude he was acting, and immediately found herself wanting to shout something but Liz cut her off.
"mind your manners, Luke. she helped me out today when you weren't, so be nice." Luke clenched his jaw, and made space for Andy to sit, and this time she sat, after making sure there was a spot for her to sit on.
that was when her eyes met with the familiar nice lads that she had met the other day. Calum, Michael and Ashton. she wasn't one who had many names to remember, thus resulting in her good memory of them.
she offered a brief smile, before looking down at her fingers. she noticed Luke watching her from the corner of his eye, so she stopped fidgeting around.
