( all i remember is that smile playing on your lips, and how pink they glowed under the sun -- )

after deciding that it was official, she said her goodbyes to Rosie and Barry and the other workers. their stuff were packed into two bags, and it was too little to say the least. Andy and Adam didn't own many stuff - making it easier to get in the car.

the bicycle was also left behind, and Andy had asked Barry to take the bicycle in for a moment, and she'd be back to retrieve it in the future. she wasn't sure how or when, but she'd never leave the people who had always been there for her - she know she'd be back somehow.

Luke and Liz quarreled a lot, but Luke always seem to lose or win in such a foul way. but that night, after everything that had happened - Luke seemed to accept everything Liz said. maybe he suddenly noticed that he should've been blessed with the presence of his mother.

they said their goodbye's to the other lads, and the boys said that they would come back to see Luke again the next day, and promised Adam to a game of fifa that didn't seem to excite Luke as it always did. Andy pushed the awkwardness away, even if the tension was obvious between Luke and her.

in the car, she sat at the back with Adam and Liz was behind the wheel with Luke sitting next to her. he was whispering to her about how irrational her action's were, and as hurt as it was to hear Luke say so - she kept thinking about how Liz was abruptly deciding about Adam and her.

but, Andy was thankful for whatever Liz did that day, even if it was irrational and much rushed, she couldn't care less. all she wanted was that Adam was content, and they had someplace to stay.

and that was the only thing that mattered that night.

"um, this would only last for a month, right?" she said, cutting off Luke's words about how she couldn't be trusted.

Liz frowned, "and why is that honey?"

"I'm eighteen next month, and I'll be legal by then. I can find another place by then, it'd be easier like that. I won't be in your way and you wouldn't have any trust issues." she said, obviously trying to offend Luke.

"what's your problem huh? you finally get a place to stay and you keep bitching in my face? what did I ever do to you, god!" he said, annoyed with how Andy slayed him.

Liz smacked his chest at the mention of foul words when there was a nine year old in the car.

"well, maybe a beating could refreshen your mind of what you ever did to me?" Andy muttered, obviously shutting him up as he inhaled a sharp breath. Liz was confused to what had happened, and decided to ask.

"how do you know each other? what did Luke do to you?" she asked, peering at the back through the rearview mirror.

Luke gulped and he looked flustered, mentally begging her not to tell his mother what had happened between them both.

Andy liked seeing him all worried and scared, it made her feel a lot much better.

"nothing happened, it was a small argument, right?" Andy answered, as Liz looked hesitantly between them both, and Andy just played with Adam's hair as he slept on her lap.

she didn't bother to look at Luke, who was obviously watching her through the side mirror. she kept her focus on her little brother, and decided to deal with Luke another time.

as soon as they reached the place, Andy was shocked to see how large it was. she couldn't really imagine herself staying in such a humble abode - but this was really happening.
