(if you could feel my heart beat now, it would feel just like a sledgehammer ---)

Andrea's POV

I couldn't lie, this whole new wardrobe was fun - but I couldn't help but get confused at up to date shirts and crop tops or even these tight jeans that Luke had assured me were the normal thing to wear. were they supposedly tight until you could feel them sinking in your skin?

thank god I bought a few baggy jeans that amazingly fit me like a glove. I mean they weren't that tight, but I sure upgraded from my baggy pants. I sure hope I could actually manage well in adjusting myself into this whole girly wardrobe. well, Luke said I rocked it, (and I actually blushed) but I couldn't help but worry about how Liz would be taking this in, I sure hope she approves.

Adam on the other hand, is extremely happy with his marvel wardrobe. he and his superheroes, and with Luke as the addition makes everything just slightly worse. slightly.

I was in my room, filling in my wardrobe with my current comfortable hand me downs, and the whole new clothing that I couldn't even afford at all. this just felt like a dream, and I couldn't help but pinch myself because I couldn't really believe all of this was happening. Liz was a total lifesaver.

I walked out of my room, trying to find Adam since he wasn't in his room. I walked downstairs only to be pulled into a bone-crushing hug. trying my best to pull myself, my efforts were found to be a fail. the petite yet large lady in front of me was talking in such a rapid pace and her hold on me was tightening. I couldn't even breathe properly.

after what felt like a worthwhile, she finally released me from her deathly grip, and the only words that I could catch from phrases that seemed to be thrown at me like bolts of lightning were 'happy', 'Liz', and 'lonely'.

huh?

"uhm, hi." I said, after looking at the smile on her sweet face. she looked slightly older than Liz, and I couldn't help but stare at her large bush of shoulder-length curly hair. it suited her face well, though.

"oh my god! you are so beautiful, I couldn't see why Mrs. Hemmings thought you were a dyke! such a fool, I would've known you were a girl!" she gushed over and over, and the only thing I thought from this lady was, at least someone would've known that I'm a girl.

"yeah," I stuttered, trying my best to not turn awkward.

"oh sorry! you don't even know me, and I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Martha, and I work here for Mrs. Hemmings! I've been taking quite a few days off since my son paid for a lovely honeymoon for me and the hubby. Venice was amazing!" she rambled, and I smiled.

she was nice.

"that must've been great Martha. great to know you had a blast," I said, trying my best to respond equally. I wasn't quite listening, but she didn't really seem to care.

"anyways, what can I do for you sweet cheeks? you want a panini or maybe some tacos?"

I smiled, and shook my head hastily. "no, as good as it sounds- I'm good. but have you maybe seen Adam? he's my little brother, you know this tall and he has brown hair, brown ey-,"

I stopped talking when Martha laughed and I frowned.

"yes, I know Adam! Luke introduced me to him, and he's such a good kid! I think they're up in Luke's room or maybe the game room somewhere," Martha answered and I thanked her before she pulled me into another bone-crushing hug.

she really gripped hard, I swore my ribs were cracking.

I walked upstairs, walking slowly and tried to find the room that I had been in the other night. I don't know why, but thinking of the room made my goosebumps rise slightly. maybe it was because of Luke, who approached me quite well. I wasn't sure myself.
