Kairi's Persistence

As the boys were getting ready to go back to work and school, Yuto's phone rang. Yuto immediately sighed when he heard the ringtone. "So she's trying me now? Wow..."

"Ooh, put her on speakerphone!" Yuri said with a grin. "I wanna hear what she has to say!"

Yuto raised an eyebrow, but reluctantly answered the phone and put it on speaker. Kairi immediately spoke before Yuto could even greet her. "Yuto, do you know where Zarc is? He changed the locks to the house!"

"Yes, I know, he told us he would," Yuto said calmly. "I mean, it was his house before you two got married right?"

"Oh, you're not still hung up about that little detail, are you?" Kairi sneered. "Look, Zarc won't answer his phone, so you need to tell him to change the locks back so that I can get inside!"

"I don't need to tell him to do anything!" Yuto replied in annoyance. "It's his house. If he wants to change the locks, I have no right to tell him to change them back. Besides, I don't think you deserve to get back inside without his permission. There's no telling what kind of property damage you'll do when he's not home, or what you'll steal."

"Yuto! You have to!" Kairi demanded. "I tried calling Yuya, but Yugo answered his phone so I know they're together, and no way in hell I'm gonna argue with Yuri trying to get him to convince Zarc. He'll just laugh and enjoy my pain and suffering like the sadistic little jerk he is!"

"Oh, how original!" Yuri said with a grin. "Even now you can't think of any insults for me other than 'jerk'?"

Kairi was silent for a moment, then shrieked. "You guys too?! Why are all of you teaming up against me? You should be at each other's throats for trying to steal your girl!"

"Except that none of us were trying to steal you," Yuya pointed out. "None of us even knew about each other until a few days ago. You lied to all of us. So why would any of us be angry at each other when none of us were trying to steal you?"

"Well, my husband should at least sue you all for the affair!" Kairi sneered. Zarc immediately spoke up. "Like Yuya said, none of them knew you were married until I contacted them. They're just as much victims in this situation as I am. The only person in the wrong here is you, Kairi. And you can be damn well sure that I'll be suing you for having four different affairs. In fact, I'll be splitting the money I get from the lawsuit with them. After all, you wasted quite a bit of their lives being in a relationship with them that they could've spent in a relationship with someone who was actually loyal!"

"Zarc! Let me in the house! It's cold out here!" Kairi shrieked. "I didn't bring a jacket!"

"Sucks to be you, then!" Yugo said with a grin. "We're nice and toasty in a nice warm building!"

"Why are all of you together?!" Kairi demanded. Zarc replied, "None of your business, that's why!" Then he gestured to Yuto to hang up, which the eggplant gladly did.

"Well, that was rather enjoyable!" Yuri said with a grin. "She was right about one thing though! I am definitely enjoying her suffering! She deserves it after what she did!"
