Zarc was feeling much better now that Kairi's belongings were out of the house. Though the more he looked around, the more discontent he felt. It wasn't that he missed his soon-to-be-ex-wife or had regrets. No, he just felt like most of the furniture reminded him too much of her. That couch that was the exact shade of brown as Kairi's eyes, that orange tablecloth that was her favorite color, everything in the house made him think of her, and not in the nostalgic or positive way.
"Alright, change of plans," Zarc said, and his boys looked up at him in surprise. "I'm donating all my furniture and buying new ones. Too many reminders of her."
"Oh, well we can help with that if you like!" Yuya offered. Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo all hummed in agreement, and Zarc smiled at them. "Yes, I think I would like that, actually! Why don't we all meet here on Saturday morning, and we can go shopping for new furniture for my house."
"Sounds great!" Yuto said. "I'm free on Saturday!"
"Yeah, me too," Yuri said. Yugo nodded in agreement, "Same! What about you, Yuya? You free on Saturday?"
"Yep!" Yuya replied. "I can't wait to help you re-furnish your house, Zarc!"
