The first stop was to the neighborhood furniture shop to buy a new bed. Out of all the furnishings Zarc had to replace, the bed was his top priority. All the rest could wait, but the bed had to be replaced as soon as possible.
"Oh, look at this bed!" Yugo exclaimed, hopping onto a display bed. "It's so big!" It was a queen-sized bed about the size of Zarc's current bed, and Zarc raised an eyebrow. "That's the standard size bed for an adult, Yugo."
"Oh, well, I've never seen one this big before," Yugo said, laying down. "Ooh, and it's so comfy too!"
Yuya hopped onto the bed and frowned. "Yugo, what kind of bed are you used to?" he asked. Yugo replied, "I got a bed that I barely fit on. It feels like a bag of rocks compared to this one."
Yuya patted Yugo's shoulder. "You should try my bed then. It's much more comfy than this one, and it's the same size too!"
Yugo gasped looking at Yuya with wide tourmaline eyes. "That is so cool!" he squealed. "I wanna see your bed!"
Zarc sat down on the bed, raising an eyebrow. "This is pretty comfortable, Yuya. What does your bed feel like?"
"Like sleeping on a giant fluffy marshmallow cloud," Yuya replied, nodding sagely. Zarc chuckled. "How about Yugo picks out my new bedframe, and you pick out my mattress then?"
"Yeah!" Yugo said excitedly. "I'll pick out the biggest, fanciest bedframe in the store!"
