He sat in the last booth at the back silently, tapping his fingers to the rhythm of the song playing in the small diner.
You took a deep breath and walked towards Bruce.
"Hi, how can I help you?" He furrowed his eyebrows at you.
You just continued looking at him, one eyebrow raised, hip jutted out and arms crossed. After awhile, his confusion turned to realisation.
"Its you..." he trailed.
You just nodded and took a seat opposite of him.
"You called." You shrugged.
You reached into your bag and pulled out your mask. You discreetly put it on to show Bruce that you really were the hero in the alley and on the roof.
"I didnt expect you to actually come... but this is great!" Bruce rambled on.
"Bruce... Youre rambling... Speak slower... " you snapped your fingers in front of his face.
"Oh um, Im sorry. I just wanted to thank you..." he nervously rubbed the back of his neck.
"You dont have to. Its my job." You explain.
"Well, atleast let me buy you a drink." He smirked.
You raised an eyebrow at him but gave in. The both of you actually had fun bantering around with each other. Stories of your pasts were revealed and many more.
"Today was really fun, I hope Ill see you again."He reached out his hand.
You smirked and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.
"Stay out of trouble" you winked.
"Wait! I still dont know your name!" He called out.
You turned and gave him a smirk.
