"Why did you wear a dress with numerous ties last night, even though you picked out the gown yourself?"

Jungkook had just washed his face and sat down at the table to eat. Voluntarily coming to the table would’ve been a lie — it was Lisa who had dragged him there and made him sit. She also served a plate of rice and beef curry. Steam rose from the hot foods, spreading its warmth into the air. Still groggy with sleep, Jungkook stared at the plate with blurry eyes and stiffly replied with a lie, "I suddenly changed my mind. Felt like this dress would look prettier. I thought the earlier gown made me look too childish."

Jimin wasn’t convinced. Refusing to drop the topic, he sat cross-legged on the chair and said skeptically, "Your reply lacks flavor. Dull and bland. Just the way lies usually sound. And you look more childish and cute in this than the gown."

Jungkook hesitated, his delicate hands stopping midway from reaching the fork and spoon. For a few seconds, he stared at the wall clock in the dining room. It was half past seven. With the ongoing wedding festivities, sleep had been cast away early that morning. The combined by the ceremonies and night festivities had ended quite late, nearing dawn.

Unable to change out of the long dress, Jungkook had fallen asleep fully dressed, accessories and all, collapsing on the bed. It was almost funny, considering he’d nearly slept in the bathroom just the other day. Now, on the day of the wedding, he was facing a sleepless night, consumed with an anticipation that refused to let him rest.

A sweet feeling fluttered in his chest, one that refused to leave. The very thought of seeing that stubborn man dressed as a groom, his groom filled his heart with warmth. Picturing that future made sleep seem impossible. The sleepy dreamer had now turned into a dream filled soul.

FLASHBACK

Earlier that night, when Taehyung was kneeling down to adjust the silk clothing, his hands lingered on Jungkook's soft, bare skin, caressing it gently before tightening his hold around Jungkook’s waist. The younger’s breath hitched, a gasp escaping his lips when he felt Taehyung’s fingers trace his waistline with deliberate slowness, igniting sparks wherever they touched.

Without warning, Taehyung leaned closer, his warm lips brushing against Jungkook’s bare navel in a featherlight kiss. The younger’s hands instinctively reached out, grasping the edge of the nearby table for support, his knees threatening to buckle under the intensity. He stammered, "Ah n-no, Taehyungie h-hyung!"

Taehyung’s mouth lingered, teasingly sucking on the delicate skin near Jungkook’s navel, leaving a heated sensation that spread throughout his body. He looked at the captivating mole in one side of the younger's small cute navel and the promise he made almost was in the verge of breaking free.

Taehyung’s grip on Jungkook's waist grew firmer as he trailed his lips along the side of his waist, his teeth grazing against the soft flesh in playful bites that made Jungkook shiver. Every nip and tug sent a jolt of heat coursing through his veins, and he couldn’t stop the faint whimper that escaped him.

“Stay still.” Taehyung murmured against Jungkook’s skin, his voice deep and laden with desire. His tongue flicked over the areas he’d bitten, soothing the slight sting before leaving open mouthed kisses that felt impossibly wet and slippery against Jungkook's smooth pale skin glowing with saliva.

Jungkook’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, his body betraying him as he arched slightly into Taehyung’s touch, unable to resist the pull of his magnetic presence. He gripped Taehyung's hair in a hope for support and could not help but let out soft moans, "Mm uhm aha."
