A round fan was making a rattling noise as it spun in circles above. Jungkook's mind was being sharply assaulted by the buzzing sound that filled the air. He blinked rapidly, sitting up from his bed. Around him, a circle of familiar and unfamiliar faces leaned in. Jungkook was taken aback and stunned. He turned his eyes to look at everyone. Their gazes seemed to suggest he was some kind of aesthetic character that everyone was eagerly waiting to pounce on. At that moment, Jungkook made a silly mental promise to himself: "I will never faint again."

A girl in a blue dress reached out and touched Jungkook's warm, soft cheek. With a smile showing three or four teeth, she exclaimed, “Everyone was saying you fell asleep. I found it quite interesting. Falling asleep at a wedding gate. Wow! I've never seen anything like it before, so I was really excited. When I asked a couple of people why they were saying this, they told me you're an expert at sleeping in the bathroom too. So much sleeping huh!”

The beautiful and elegant girl elongated her voice as she said the last line. A look of embarrassment settled on Jungkook's face. In the end, he would have to be ashamed of sleeping even more than the groom's sides! Where could he possibly hide this embarrassment? Would it fit in a box? Lost in a thousand pointless thoughts, his mind drifted until his mother's voice brought him back to reality.

Lisa was politely asking everyone to head downstairs. The doctor had repeatedly warned against crowding, yet there was no sign of restraint from the groom’s family. It felt as if they had discovered the most astonishing thing in the world in the enchanting, beauty of the boy with the mesmerizing charm. Out of respect, she found herself unable to say anything. The girl in the blue dress was Suzy’s sister-in-law. How casually she came to make fun of Jungkook! It was unbelievable how people nowadays couldn’t even recognize when they were losing consciousness or sleeping. With a sigh, Lisa sat next to her pouty son.

Placing her hand on Jungkook's head, she asked sweetly, “How are you feeling? You can’t go weak from not eating, you know? You fainted at the wedding gate. Don’t you care about your dignity? How long are you going to fall and faint like this? What are you starting?”

Hearing the phrase “Wedding gate,” Jungkook's heart jumped. A face floated before his eyes. Thinking he was mistaken, he looked again. No, it was the same scene. Taehyung, shaking his hair, plopped down on one side of the bed. He looked straight at Lisa and said, “Don’t worry, it’s all fine, auntie.”

Lisa looked at Taehyung with a sorrowful expression. In the next moment, she cast a stern glance at Jungkook's pale face. She began to vent her frustration at him, “If he took care to eat properly, would I be worried? I have to deal with this boy’s everyday troubles. Look, look at those cheeks—there’s not even an ounce of flesh. You’d think he hasn’t eaten in years.”

Taehyung quickly glanced at Jungkook to keep Lisa's words in check. A deep, piercing gaze. Jungkook felt flustered. A shiver crept up from the soles of his feet. His blood began to run cold. In an instant, he felt like saying to Taehyung, “What are you doing, Tae hyung? Why are you looking at an omega like this? Don’t you know I’ve grown up now?”

Lisa was being called out from downstairs. Approaching the door, she turned back again. In a frightened tone, she murmured, “Have you talked to your uncle, Tae?”

“I have.”

“What did he say?”

Taehyung pulled a pillow towards him, leaned back, and replied, “Jung Hoseok's old saying: Don’t cause any trouble. There’s no place for uncivilized behavior in our respectable family. Still, since you’ve come on behalf of the groom’s party, you will maintain your dignity well. I hope I don’t have to teach you this.”
