Charlie had one last idea. She wanted to try one last time before she called her dad. She was going to do a lesson! And she was going to make certain that Adam attended this time. Her goal was to redeem people right? Perhaps she could teach this sexist behavior out of him.
She went up to his room with Vaggie at her side. Like hell she was ever going to let herself be alone with Adam ever again. She didn't know why she didn't take Vaggie with her this morning. That was an awful idea. She knocked on the door. Adam opened it up and leaned against the doorframe.
"Here for a threesome sugar tits?" He mocked. Vaggie immediately started seething.
"No. We're here to invite you to a lesson!" Charlie answered him.
"Oh. Yeah, uh, I don't really wanna."
"You're supposed to oversee me right?" Charlie stopped him before he could shut the door on her. "Well, come oversee."
'Come oversee.' 'I order you to obey your wife.' Adam grumbled but followed the pair downstairs anyway. He sat cross legged in the chair furthest away from everyone else.
Everyone else was gathered in a circle. It reminded Adam of the scout meetings he used to lead in the summer. Angel looked like he was half asleep. Pentious was much more awake, even seemed excited. Husk was awake now which meant he was also condemned to lessons.
"Today's lesson is going to be a little bit different." Charlie started. Angel raised an eyebrow.
"Today's lesson is about!" She did a little drumroll with her fingers then flipped up the sheet that was covering her graphics.
"Sexism!"
Adam immediately started laughing. Charlie was getting increasingly more fed up with this guy. She cleared her throat.
"Some of us need this lesson a little more than others."
Adam rolled his eyes. Oh this was going to be great.
"Sexism is when you think less of or treat someone unfairly because of their gender. Sexism can develop at very early ages. Children as young as 6 years old will notice societal differences in the way that girls are treated and will start to form stereotypes in their heads that they associate with women. What are some harmful stereotypes about women?"
"Uh...that women are weak?" Pentious had been the only one to respond. Angel and Husk had both completely glazed over.
"Yes! That's a common one, but we all know that one isn't true. There are many female overlords here in hell."
Women? Weak? Adam had never heard that one before. Not as strong as men sure, but that was because their muscular systems were based on seraphim. He would never say weak though. More like less likely to take risks. He had chosen women for his army specifically because they really fucking scary when they were mad, and every single exorcist in his army had plenty of reason to be mad at the residents of hell. Except for Vaggie. That is why she fell.
"What are some other stereotypes? Angel?"
"Uhhh....well this ain't so much a stereotype but objectification ain't too happy. Men ought to leave that to stars like me!" He put his leg in the air and stroked up it to make his point.
"Ew. Put that thing away, no one wants to see that." Came from Adam.
"Oh yes they do! And I got the creepy fan letters to prove it~" Angel flashed a letter from someone asking him for pictures of his feet.
"Why are you carrying that around?" Pentious asked him.
"I think it's funny."
"That was a good one Angel! Not a stereotype but it does lead into my next point!" She flipped to the next slide.
