I sigh, knowing that my times up, I need to tell him. It's not fair for him to be in the dark anymore. But he needs to stop keeping secrets from me as well.
"I will on the condition that you tell me what your hiding too, and what all these are from." I lift his arm and kiss his scars, letting him know that I'm not mad, just curious.
He looks down and silently nods, agreeding to the terms, telling me to go first, and turns in my lap so he can see my face.
"Have you heard of demons? Well before Aiden decided to show up." I asked him quietly.
"I've heard of them, but never met one, I don't know why everyone is so scared of them and all, I mean just like everything, there has to be good and bad guys even with them... Right?"
"Not always nix but there are some that are trying to do good, and I know your probably wondering how this even has to do with me. So when I was five, and still with Akira and my old pack, this demon-like wolf approached me. Trust me, it was the scariest shit I've ever seen, and watching him shift, you could tell him and his wolf have fallen out, just by the way you could hear the bones cracking and flesh tairing apart. He finally shifted and explained that he was a so called 'Arch-demon' of hell. Still haven't figured out the heirachy of demons, but supposedly it's the highest rank you can reach, and he claimed that he needed a heir, because his 'reign' was coming to an end, fuck knows why but he chose me" I spat growling menacingly at the memory. Nix looked up at me and hugged me tightly and I decided since the secret was already out and he hadn't already rejected me I might as well just tell him everything.
"His touch literally felt like it was going to burn the flesh off of my face, but he apparently transferred his powers to me. I woke up in the mansion I live in now. There was a note in my pocket saying that he would be back in due time, and not to get too comfy. That there would be wolves fighting for my land. He had left an unknown sum of money and gave me the bank information to access when needed. I still don't understand what he meant when saying he would be back, or why he whent so far as to provide money for me, because he hasn't been back in the whole time that I've been here, which I'm okay with. But soon after I finally got settled in, there were wolves that decided to show up.
They claimed that this was free land and that it was their right as a wolf to claim it. That I could either lay down and they would 'spare my shitty life' or they could kill me right there and save me the exhaustion of having to life to pitiful. That set me off. I killed them, they were the first people I ever killed and it'll be burned into my memory forever.. " trailing off I stair at the lake, recalling the looks on their faces when they were on their last breath because a five year old had killed them. But I wasn't a normal five year old. I take a shaking breath and absent-mindedly continue, while remembering it myself as well.
"that was the day I figured out how different I actually was. I looked at their bodies and didn't feel a drop of remorse, it was like they didn't even matter, my brain just told me again and again that I did what i had to do. That was also the day my wolf awakened fully. In the past he just talked to me but didn't have the strength to fully transform, but after I had killed those werewolves, something inside of me just snapped and before I knew it, I was on four pitch black paws. I had no clue as to what was going on but luckily Sadao understood and guided me home and explained everything, for years and years, Sadao and Jace, Jace is my demon, but they were the only ones that would talk to me besides the rogues that simply threatened me. They taught me the basics of their kind and everything. I never whent into town in fear that everyone would know I was different, that I would be labeled an outcast." I dig my face into his neck, taking comfort in the fact that he hadn't run away even knowing the truth... At least not yet. I don't want to talk in fear that my voice will waver. Suddenly a pair of arms wrap around me, bringing me closer to him.
Smiling I know that simple movement alone was his silent word of acceptance.
