"I don't know what you're talking about" Luke raised his voice at you.

"just tell me!! are you doing drugs or not?" you yelled back.

"no." he mumbled as he tried to walk away.

"then what is this shit?" you whispered as you help up three bags filled with a white, powdery content.

Luke almost immediately snatched away the bags.

"th-they aren't mine." he tried to lie.

"Luke don't lie to me." tears stung your eyes. it hurt you so much that your boyfriend was poisoning himself.

"Mia, what the fuck were you doing in my stuff?" he yelled.

"My god!! I was looking out for you!"

you watch as he grabs a bottle of gin from the pantry. he takes a long swig and he grabs his car keys.

"I'm out." he yells as he's walking out the front door.

you run after him, screaming.

"what the fuck, Luke?! you can't drink and drive!"

"watch me, mia." he says in the calmest tone. he opens the car door and and turns on the engine.

your mouth drops open as he takes another swig and flips you off.

he rolls down the window and yells "I'm not doing drugs mia."

he takes off in a blink of an eye.

you immediately run back into the house to grab your keys.

you get into your car and take the same road that Luke had.

you finally catch up to Luke. he was driving very fast. you both were past the limit.

Luke realized that it was you behind him, so he decided to swerve into the lane next to you, which was the lane for cars going the opposite direction.

before you two know it, you came to a corner where another car was turning into Luke's lane.

they collide so fast and so hard.

Luke's car is flipped onto its side.

you break as hard as you can, tears flooding your eyes.

you run out of your car and to Luke.

you open the door that is facing upwards.

"oh baby," you cry out to him as you climb in. broken glass is everywhere.

you cut your arms a few times, but the pain in your heart hurts far worse than a few scrapes and bruises.

"I'm sorry, Mia." Luke manages to get out through labored breathing.

Luke has shards of glass stuck in him all over his body.

"don't close your eyes, baby," you scream. "don't close your eyes!"

"Mia," he gasps.

he slowly closes his eyes and the rising and falling of his chest has stopped.

"no!" you scream. "no, I love you!" you cry out to his dead body.

you climb down from the car and you take a look around. the other guy is in his car. he hit his head very hard.

behind you, there is a line of cars and an ambulance in the distance.

but you don't even care.

you break down in the middle of the street and cry.
