Siya's pov:

"The news is coming from close sources – India’s youngest cabinet leader and renowned industrialist Mr. Aagnay Pratap Thakur has been engaged in a very intimate ceremony’’.

‘’ Recently in an interview, Mr. Adhirath Pratap Thakur announced his marriage alliance of his son with Mr. Goenka's daughter’’.

‘’Yet, neither parties announced their engagement officially through their online accounts’.

The  announcement of engagement was widely disseminated across various networks, major news websites and trusted insta accounts picked up the story, highlighting the topic, with hastages and circulating on twitter and Instagram everywhere.

‘’Siya, come have your breakfast, you’ll be late’’ Maa's voice brought me back to my senses.

Resting my phone aside, I did my stuff and gestured ashish to call for auto or something because I’m going back to Varanasi, living here while maintaining a façade of strong warrior for my family and especially for maa is making things tough for me now…. I somehow make them believe that classes have started and for that I need to leave.

‘’good morning saale sahab’’ I have no need to identify the source of the voice, his presence alone is enough to evoke a myriad of emotions within me.

The sound of footsteps comes closer , enough close that I can hear his deep breath on the my neck.

‘’good morning jaan’’ I rolled my eyes dramatically at his sweet coated voice.

I turned around him, enlarged the space between us.

Taking deliberate and steady steps he backed off and went towards her parents, touched their feet and made them sit.

‘’btw where were you planning to go?’’

‘’ when you know, then why’re acting to ask?’'

‘’ kyu ki aapko sunna pasand hai”’ he replied with a derisive tone, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he leaned close in her direction.

‘’you’re not going to varanasi now, for today it’s important for  you to  stay here’’. Aagnay responded in a blunt manner, his words sharp and unyielding , leaving no room for interpretation or discussion.

‘’ my university doesn’t follow your instructions, so don’t dare to lecture me on this’’. Siya responded with irritation, her voice laced with a sharp edge that hinted at her growing frustration.

‘’if I can extend your examination dates, I can shut down them too’’

‘’ Meri universities mere hi instructions na mane? To band na karwa du phir?’’ aagnay responded in a flat tone, while reclining in the chair, his posture relaxed yet assertive.

On the other hand, Siya was taken aback by the new revelation, her heart and mind racing as the words sank in. Recalling the events where dates had been extended by authority all of sudden during anshika’s wedding unveiling the reason now.

‘’now please take a seat, otherwise you’ll gladly blame me for finalizing our day without your will’’

Suddenly her hall filled with everyone, with her parents and with his too. Studying and calculating the auspicious date, finally he proposed the date for their marriage after 4 months, on which everyone or perhaps his side agreed, her parents also agreed as they don’t have any option now.

Making the moment precious, they filled each other's mouths with full of sweets.

‘’ ghar chalne ki tayaariya suru kar dijiye Ms. Mehra’’  aagnay whispers softly in her ears, while  shoving  a small piece of sweet in her mouth and  eating  her half piece while looking at her adorably.
