                    Aagany's pov:

The past week has been a whirlwind of memories for me, marked by a series of emotional highs and lows.

It included a reunion with her family and the ensuing drama with my father( he can never change though), and came to showcase his generosity.... However, I made sure to set boundaries to keep the situation in check.

And when it comes to siya, I can't bear a  word against her, others are long way off.

Dad said he came all the way to this wedding to fulfill mom's  (Ashmita's) wish, what a big joke.

However, I don't want to spoil my moments by thinking about anything...Mahadev has blessed me with this gift, I just want to thank him.

Thank him for giving me HER.

Siya and I are like a pen and a blank paper... I fill the page only when she wants to write... otherwise, despite being each other's companion, we've a long bridge of misunderstanding between us.

Neither she would  anything nor i would complain, neither will she ask nor will I ever tell..my side will always seem hollow and false to her, so why should I work hard to make her understand, leave it, the one from whom I asked her he will bring her to me when the time comes.

But the problem is that she will never understand... I don't have any hope in my heart that she will understand me one day.  I just want  her to believe  that I cannot do anything bad to her... I let Suraj go only so that Siya does not feel guilty otherwise there was no forgiveness for his crime, but for Siya's sake I let him go from here.

But not before warning him.

After that day, we celebrated the haldi ceremony. I prepared myself eagerly and instructed Pranav to bring the haldi bowl for the couple. He shot me a sidelong glance, which I chose to overlook. I had previously applied haldi to Siya during his wedding and I was the last, and now it was my turn to be the first to apply it to her.

"There is only a little time left for haldi wait till then ok". Pranav glanced at his phone, seemingly distracted and not fully engaged in the conversation.

"You have an appointment with Dr. Mayur tomorrow, reach there on time".

"Appointment? Why would a fit person go to a doctor? especially a hearing specialist? Huhh?". I spoke in a monotone, leaving pranav  perplexed about how the discussion regarding doctors had become relevant in their talk.

"fit check you?  deaf aashole , you  understand the work in 10 attempts, and if i tell you to do it, you start preaching instead of doing that". I expressed my frustration towards Pranav with a tone that was distinctly irritable.

"Izzat se baat kar lein, thoda din me jija ban jaunga tera"Pranav responded to his words with an exaggerated shake of his head.

"Acha, 4 din baad banna....ab jaa jo kaha ha woh kar". I said nonchalantly.

As I caught his reflection in the mirror, he rolled his eyes and stepped out of the room. I silently cursed him as I turned to take one last look before leaving.

As I stepped into her room, I was captivated by her presence, elegantly dressed in a haldi outfit that complemented her beautifully. The intricate details of the garment, which I had specifically ordered for her, reflected the artistry of Varanasi, a style I knew she cherished. While I do not expect any overt expressions of affection from her, I sincerely hope she appreciates the thought and effort behind the outfit, as that is all I desire.

Her surprise at my arrival was evident as her usual gaze widened, and I found her expression cute. To heighten her astonishment, I gently applied haldi to her cheeks, the cool paste gliding over her skin. I took my time, savoring each moment as I spread the haldi, ensuring it enveloped her face to neckline gradually, skin to sensation .
