*Luke's POV

I shifted in my sleep, I turned and went to put my arm around Nicole but she wasn't there. I looked out the window and it was already dark out. I heard some rummaging, it was coming from the kitchen I figured it was Nicole, so I went down to check on her. I left the boys in her bed.

I finally got downstairs and I walked into the kitchen and I saw Nicole. She was standing behind the fridge door so I couldn't see her face, but I could see the pile of blood bags at her feet!

"Nicole?" She dropped the back that she was feeding off of and closed the fridge door. She tilted her head and snarled at me with her fangs. Her lips, chin, and neck, were all covered in blood. Before I could say anything else she charged at me.

She came straight at me and she collapsed on top of me.

"Nicole what the hell are you doing?!" I struggled with her and pushed her off of me and into the dining room. We were facing each other now she hissed and I growled back at her, she didn't even flinch.

The next thing I new, she jumped in the air and flung her leg it connected to my jaw and I fell over. She just kicked me in the face! What the hell is her deal?! I couldn't hit her, she's my mate, and a girl. But a had to do something before she hit me again. I got up and punched her cheek, she stumbled back she was bleeding now. I went to do it again but before I could lay my hand on her she snatched my fist out of the air. She took in her hand and squeezed it, I heard the snapping of bones, and felt the pain of them breaking. When she let go, I held my hand and bent over and yelled because of the sudden pain. She snarled one last time before forcing both of her hands towards me, she didn't even need to touch me. Her powers sent me flying through the window. I grunted in pain as I fell into the cold snow outside.
