*Michael's POV
I loved listening to Nicole sing along to the CD. I could tell the boys enjoyed it too. I loved how excited she was to go out and spend some time with us. I was a bit shocked actually, after telling her about all that important stuff, I thought she would've needed some time to herself.
I hope she won't get to disappointed when she figures out that we suck ass when it comes to skating.
*Nicole's POV
Ashton pulled off to the side of the highway he said that we walked from the car to get to where we were gonna be skating. There wasn't a lot of snow on the ground but it was still cold as hell. I was walking at a fast pace I couldn't help it I was excited! I had only been with them for a short time but I was slowly starting to accept what was to come. All the boys were behind me. So I decided to play a little joke on them...
There was at least a few inches of snow. I got a far enough distance from the boys, I bent down and pretended to tie my shoe. I grabbed a handful of snow and threw straight at Michael. He must have read my thoughts because he immediately ducked and the ball of snow hit Luke in the chest. Mikey and I started laughing soon Calum and Ashton joined in. Luke bent down grabbing some snow that's when I knew this was about to get ugly...
It was four against one, hardly fair. I was making snowballs as fast as I could the I quickly threw them at the guys. I hit Calum in the shoulder a couple times, I got Luke in the chest and stomach, I totally threw one at Ashton and it hit him right in the face, I missed Michael every time he knew my every move. They hit me a bunch of times mostly in the back and shoulders. They did have the advantage. I knew I wasn't going to win so I surrendered.
We walked just a little farther to find a frozen pond. I took my bag off my back and I laced up the skates I found at the house. I got right into it, I did a few leaps and figure eights making sure to show off to the boys.
*Calum's POV
"She is such a show off."
"Yeah, but you have to admit she looks beautiful." Luke said smiling.
"I'm so happy that she is getting used to us, I love her." A part of me didn't want to change her because I knew how much pain it was going cause her. She had already been through so much. I shook off that unpleasant feeling so I could have some fun.
*Nicole's POV
I think I love those boys... I don't know what this feeling is they just feel 'right'.
They just stood there watching me. I skated to the middle of the pond and motioned to them to come out to me. They looked a little nervous, they stumbled out onto the ice shaking trying to find their balance.
They are so adorable.
I made my way toward them to see if I could help them out. They were obviously struggling... I started giggling.
They look so stupid, it's kinda funny.
"I heard that." Michael said with a grin.
I needed to help them out. I put them in a line Michael was in front then Calum, then Ashton, then Luke. And I told them to hold onto each others shoulders but I told Mikey to hold onto my hands. I slowly made my way to the middle of the pond they all looked kind of half scared half cheerful. When we got to the middle I let go of Mikey's hands leaving them stranded. They all panicked and tried to keep their balance without falling on their assess. They looked so helpless it was kind of hysterical... I left them there and went to my bag to grab the camera. I got back to them and started filming. I slowly circled around them filming making sure to get every embarrassing stumble, fall, and faceplant.
"You guys are all over 200, shouldn't you have more experience... I'm not even 22." I laughed into the camera.
Each of them eventually managed to get to the edge of the pond putting there feet on solid ground. I had at least 10 minutes of footage of the boy's struggle.
I gave the guys some tips about keeping their balance, once they regain their confidence we all get back onto the frozen water. They did a lot better the second round. We were there for what seemed like minutes, but in reality we were there for hours.
"Hey, is anyone else getting hungry?" I asked no one in particular.
"Yes!" I heard back from all of them. With that we headed back home so we could eat.
