Kanika sent the harsh messages to Nirvaan's mother and they fight over texts as per they planned, she logged into her own account and texted her again. "Mumma, don't worry. He'll talk to you. Let's wait till tomorrow and see what happens."

After sending that message, Nirvaan's mother replied, "Beta, you're such a wonderful person. You're the best for my Nirvaan." Kanika felt a wave of happiness wash over her.

"Thank you, Mumma," she replied, her heart swelling with warmth.

"Get some rest, dear. I truly believe that tomorrow, Nirvaan will talk to me. It's all thanks to you. If he does reach out, I'll never forget your kindness."

Kanika smiled softly. "Oh, Mumma, you don't need to say that. You're my mumma, and you can ask me for anything. It's your right."

Nirvaan's mother continued, "If it's my right, then one day I'll ask you for something, and you have to promise me you won't say no."

Kanika smiled, feeling a sense of warmth in her heart. "I promise, Mumma. You can ask me for anything, and I won't say no."

"Okay, it's getting late. You should get some sleep now," Nirvaan's mother said gently.

"Alright, Mumma. Good night," Kanika replied, her heart still racing from the conversation.

"Good night, dear," she said and ended the conversation .

As soon as the convo was over, Kanika felt a rush of urgency. She quickly deleted the chat history, her fingers flying over the screen. Nirvaan had access to her account, and she knew that if he saw those messages, he would uncover their plan.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. The stakes were high, and she couldn't afford any slip-ups. If Nirvaan found out about their scheme, it could ruin everything they had worked for.

With the messages deleted, Kanika felt a mix of relief and anxiety. She hoped that tomorrow would bring the resolution they all needed. As she lay in bed, she couldn't shake the feeling that they were walking a tightrope, balancing between love and deception.

With those thoughts swirling in her mind, she finally closed her eyes, hoping for a peaceful night's sleep and a brighter tomorrow.

The morning sun streamed through Nirvaan's window, but he felt anything but bright. As he scrolled through his messages, his heart sank. He stumbled upon the chat between Kanika and his mother, and with each message he read, his anger grew. How could she say those things? How could she manipulate the situation like this?

Without thinking, he dialed Kanika's number, his hands shaking with frustration. But she didn't pick up. He paced back and forth, his mind racing with thoughts of betrayal and hurt. After a few agonizing minutes, his phone buzzed. It was Kanika calling him back.

He answered, his voice laced with fury. "How dare you, Kanika? How could you talk to my mum like that? You know she's never lived with me, but she's still my family!"

Kanika's heart dropped at the sound of his voice. "Nirvaan, please-"

"Don't 'please' me!" he shouted, cutting her off. "I get it now. You're not good for me. You're trying to break my family apart!"

"That's not what I wanted-" she tried to explain, but he was too far gone.

"I'm breaking up with you," he declared, his voice cold and final. "I can't trust you anymore."

She didn't know how to respond. She thought to herself, It's fine, Kanika. Just wait for a while. You know he's angry, and when he's angry, he says things like that. So many things have happened, but you didn't break up over them, so this is nothing compared to that. She tried to reassure herself.
