Freen p.o.v

Pushing my luggage, I looked around the vast airport. I smiled sweetly when I saw a familiar figure waving at me and greeting me with a big smile and a hug.

"Welcome back to the Thailand, my friend. Gosh! It's been what? Five years?" Faye greeted me after hugging me tightly.

I chuckled and kissed her cheek.

"I'm happy to see you again, Faye." I uttered.

"Me too, my lady." She said and looked at my companion.

"Anyways, this is Charlie. Professor Charlotte de Leon. I think you've met before at university? Charlie, this is Professor Faye mallison, she teaches in the Elementary Department of the university I teach at."

"Hi, Miss Charlie. Nice to meet you. It's been a while since you two were in the Thailand. Glad that you are back." Faye greeted her happily and extended his hand.

I noticed Charlie glanced awkwardly at me so I smiled at her and then nodded.

"Nice to meet you, Professor mallison." She greeted briefly, accepting the offered palm and then staring at me.

"Let me hold your things." Charlie reached for my suitcase as we started walking.

I shook my head at this and then smiled at her sparingly. "I'll just push it."

She sighed. "Be extra careful." She whispered softly and then quickly walked ahead.

We continued walking and as I looked around, my gaze fell on Faye who was now next to me and walking with me.

When she felt my gaze, she looked at me and then gently tapped me on the shoulder.

She sadly smiled. "I know that look." She stopped walking and then faced me with a serious expression on her face.

"If only I have known your relationship with her before, I should have told her what happened that night, freen." she sadly said.

I blinked my eyes for a few times to stop my tears when I remembered what happened that night. If only, maybe no one would replace me in her heart.

I took a deep breath. I bit my lip and met her eyes that were now staring at me intensely. "Where is she?"

"Are you sure you're ready?" She assured , her forehead still furrowed.

I nodded my head and she chuckled.

"Okay, my friend. Get ready because we're going to crash a party."

We continued walking out of the airport and when we spotted Faye's car, we quickly walked towards it.

I was just about to carry my suitcase up to the car when Charlie quickly stopped me.

"Let me." she said in a panicked voice before she gave me a warning look.

I chuckled at her nervousness and quickly slapped her hand that was resting on my suitcase. "I can do this, Charlie."

"No." She grabbed the suitcase again.

"Freen, let her. Don't stress yourself too much." Faye replied, standing next to Charlie. "That's heavy, you might get sick."

I heaved a sigh and let Charlie carry my things while faye helped me get into her car.

When we were on the road, I just stared out the window, thinking about what might happen when Patricia and I met again.

I bit my lip when I remembered the most shocking and heartbreaking news that I've heard when I came back...my world almost collapsed and all the efforts and remaining hope within me dissolved when I found out that my girl had a girlfriend. And it wasn't me.
