Miss Faye?" I muttered in disbelief as I stared at her face.
I quickly stood up and supported her when I heard her groaned in pain. I immediately checked her body and head for any injuries and I was relieved to see nothing.
"I'll repeat, Becky. What are you doing here in this place at this time of night?!" She snorted angrily when she was able to stand up properly.
I swallowed hard when I saw that she was angry, based on the way she looked at me.
"Don't tell me you're planning to commit suicide?! Are you going to jump off a bridge?! Why?! Do you think that if you jump, all your problems will go away?! You'll only make more of them, Rebecca Patricia Armstrong !" she said, still shouting and when she finished, she was panting as she fixed her wet hair.
It seemed like I forgot my problems for a moment as I laughed softly. Because of her angelic face, an angry expression on her face was inappropriate.
Miss Faye has soft features that, if you look closely, you can tell she's kind and modest. That's why she's so cute to look at with her angry face.
"Now you're laughing at me?" She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms over her chest.
I bit my lower lip to suppress my laugh and diverted my gaze somewhere else. Because we were both wet, I could see her body already dripping from her wet clothes. Gosh! My eyes!
"Why are you here, Becky?" I heard her ask again.
"I'm....I--"
"Wait. We can't talk here in the middle of the road, especially since it's raining. Let's go to my penthouse. I really wanted to know what happened to you." She whispered then grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to her car.
I was stunned just staring at her. I studied her features and I was amazed. We haven't seen each other in four years and her face hasn't changed at all. In fact, she's gotten even more beautiful and sexy.
"Do you want to ride with me or just convoy?"
My attention was brought back when I heard her speak. I was going to make a joke here but I won't. Hahahahaha
"Let's just go in convoy, Miss Faye. I can't leave my car here."
She nodded and smiled. "Just call me Faye. I'm not your professor anymore, Becky."
"I nodded my head."
"Are you sure you can drive?" She assured.
"Yes ma--"
"And scratch that. It's too old."
I chuckled at what I remembered . Ever since then, I've been uncomfortable with Miss Faye. That's why I quickly became uncomfortable in her presence.
A little while later, we were both in our cars. I was following her car to her penthouse, which I was already familiar with.
I've delivered her before so I still remember the way to her location.
When we got to Miss Faye's penthouse, she lent me her clothes because we were both soaked in the rain and then she started asking questions when we sat on her sofa.
I told her everything. I didn't leave out a single detail about her. I told her my Dad's death which she replied with a condolences. And when I told her what Daddy had done about the company and the house, she stared at me in shock.
We also talked for over an hour about my problems when then she became speechless.
"Miss Faye?" I called.
